Today at 7pm I was racially profiled and targeted! I am a brown Hispanic! This employee, a 70 year old women (told me herself) snapped her fingers at me to move out of the way without saying excuse me, which is disrespectful to a customer! I asked her politely if she wanted me to move and she looked shocked that I spoke English! So I moved out of the way and went to another section to look at rugs and who was front of me? The 70 year old employee! My sister wanted to see what the rug looked like and she displayed it on the ground and instead of telling us nicely she starts yelling at her to get it off the ground! I never had this issue before in any other store trying to see what the rug looked like? I began to feel a bit targeted so I asked her if there was a problem? She told me “In my 70 years as a good American I have lived here. I raised my 30 year old son who lives with me and helped out my old husband? Us Americans are good people!” What does that have to do with anything? She just assume because I had an accent that I wasn’t an American? That whole comment was just unnecessary! Then she snatched the rug from my sisters hand and put it back! She kept asking my sister if I was upset and mad like I didn’t understand what she was saying?! She could have just asked me? A few minutes later we went to the front in line to purchase our things and she stands in the front of the counter and starts ranting to the coworkers and customers in high volume so everyone can here “my ancestors were free so I can walk wherever I want to go” that comment was just unnecessary as well! I love this tjmax but I won’t go again if this happens again! Please check your employees so this never happens to anyone again!

Great place to shop, for something unique, but usually gets messy as the day goes on! If you want it, my suggestion is to buy it, it will not be there the next time!

I loved my experience here, and I met amazing people that I still talk to as of now. But as someone who was still in high school and had to manage extra curricular activities, me requesting time off took a leg and an arm. It was very difficult for me to do that leading me to miss some events that were crucial to my senior year. Some of the managers were really nice, but many of them were very rude, made me feel down graded, and the lack of communication for everything was just horrible. The environment in that workplace was toxic and stressful. And whenever I was trained, the trainer was never there and another “experienced” employee had to train me. I’m grateful for the opportunity and experience I had working here, but if you’re looking for a place that will work with your life schedule, don’t work here.

Nice place,Clean and straightened out. Cool stuff in there.Wish they had mens shoes here. They only have a women's shoe dept.

This TjMaxx is alright, staff are either great or have poor attitudes & treat you like you're an inconvenience, I guess it depends on the management on shift. Usually pretty clean & organized in here compared to others.

It's always a great place to grab an outfit or shop for a gift. You never know what you'll find but you have a pretty good idea this is where you'll find what you need. Fantastic selection of reasonably priced animal toys or at least much more so than many big brand specialty stores. Their housewares decorative items are also very unique and often quite quirky.
