Booked a car, all went through fine, they took my money, but when we got there, the/a car was not available. They did not refund me the deposit until I called them and asked where my money was and they finally told me I had to go online to *cancel*, even though they were unable to provide the service, or my money would not be refunded to me at all.In summary: They took my money, did not provide the service, and said nothing. When contacted, they finally told me to take more action online or they would not give me they money they owed me. Absurdly bad service for an absurdly bad business. It is better to wait for another company or find public transportation than to ever support this location.There will not be a car for you, you will not get where you need to go and you will not be automatically refunded.

Went to pick up my car which was confirmed to be ready for me at 3pm. I was on time. Lights out, door locked, nobody there. Parking attendant says he saw the Budget employee leaving a little while earlier. Called Budget and they said the location would be open next day at 8:30am but I could lose the car if I didn’t change the pick up date and they couldn’t do that for me - I would have to call Expedia. They put me through to customer service who hung up on me. I called back the number I had been given. Wrong number. Finally I get someone who is helpful and confirms my car will be ready a day late. Basically the Budget employee left early. Luckily I was able to adjust my plans by a day but many would not have been able to do that.

Warning to all potential customers - read the reviews. There is a reason for the 1.7 start rating. Reputable business establishments do not have ratings this low. I’d argue that a business has to really go out of their way to receive such poor reviews. Worst customer service experience of my life. I overheard the customer service representative say “I knew I shouldn’t have answered this call,” after I profusely tried calling for 2 hours straight to let them know I wouldn’t make it by 6pm. That is literally your job! She had the audacity to say “well you made the reservation for 6pm.” Lady, you’re in the business of renting vehicles to people who are traveling… by boat, by plane, etc. Variables beyond a travelers control routinely delay expected arrival times. The fact a car rental business can’t accommodate for travel delays is bad enough. The lack of professionalism and nastiness make this complete dumpster fire of a business to be avoided at all costs!

1 star is to high of a rating for this poor excuse for a rental car establishment. The woman who owns/works at the front desk at this place is always in a miserable mood and would love nothing more than to NOT rent you a car. Pay more and rent somewhere else.

Delivered in car in time. 8 30 AM .they wrote it that they received it 9 30. Charged another day. When you call at location the lady who works there does not even tell you her name and hangs up on you.

Be very careful at this Budget location. Make sure you inspect the car, record existing damage and cleanliness (or lack thereof) and have the person at the desk put it in writing. The car I picked up was both dirty and damaged(banged up bumper) and smelled of cigarette smoke. The woman gave me a contract saying there was no damage and she said the car had just been detailed. As soon as I saw the car I took the contract right back to her so she could note the issues. I also took photos .When I returned it, they charged me $450 cleaning fee for pine needles on the carpet. There was no food, trash or mess. After 1/2 hour phone call, Budget Customer Service refunded the $450 as I had taken photos at the time of rental. Got zero customer support from this location; very time consuming and troubling. Will never use them again.

Avoid at all costs.I was returning a car to the location, and there was zero parking available to return the car. After circling and waiting for a car to leave so I could park the rental, the woman at the desk wouldn't give me a receipt for returning the car. I thought this would be fine, except then Budget tried to bill me for an additional day, saying that I hadn't returned the car. It turned into 40 minutes on the phone with a poor customer service rep who "gave me a deal" by taking off the additional charge, when in fact I had returned the car early. This place is a nightmare and I'll never be coming back.

If you’re supposed to be open at 8:30, then someone should be here at 8:30. Twice I’ve rented here recently, and twice they’ve been 15 minutes late or more.

The first time I rented from them it was great! I called that morning and was in a car an hour later. The second time I reserved a car over the phone through customer service the night before, the next morning 20 minutes before I was supposed to pick up my rental they called me and very RUDELY told me they had no vehicles available. She very RUDELY one again told me they had no cars available for the rest of the day. I was very upset obviously because I was counting on my rental. I asked her if there were any other locations I could pick up a car and then she was like "Oh an employee is bringing a car from the next town over and will be here in an hour''. So why didn't she tell me that from the beginning?? I eventually got a rental a few hours after I was scheduled too and had to go through alot of dealing with this very very rude, miserable employee.

Really bad management. The girl assisting me was really nice. The manager (lady in the steamship authority vest - she didnt say her name) was treating her poorly ( the girl helping was trying to explain something to the manager in perfect english and the manager said “honey, i cant understand anything you saying” and when I told her I can’t get out of the parking lot - - she took off her mask and laughed.. and proceeded to assume i can’t get out because of my driving skills. i needed to get to work and absolutely no acknowledgment. The only thing good about the experience was the decent car.

Getting the car wasn't an issue but the car wasn't cleaned, it smelled like smoke, and it had lots of dents/scratches that weren't written on the paperwork that was handed to me.
