I have been a member of this bank for about 20 years. I have always had a passbook savings account. Apparently on July 1,2020 THE BANK made a mistake. As told to me their computer read one of my checks wrong and dispersed $800.00. I DID NOT RECEIVE THE $800.00 however they went into my personal passbook savings account WITHOUT calling me (I have 2 different phone numbers) WITHOUT texting me, WITHOUT emailing me or ANY OTHER FORM OF CONTACTING me and stole $800.00 out of my account to make up for THEIR mistake. This transaction supposedly happened on July 1, 2020 yet they didn't steal the money from me until August 10, 2020. Because I was never notified I "discovered this" and I had to contact them! After almost a week of conversations over the phone I was told they'd deposit half of the money back ($400.00) and somehow I should be happy about it! So I'm now out $400.00 and the woman I was talking to said "she was done with the conversation" which led me to just hang up on her. I'm pretty sure they will never deposit the $400.00 as they've done nothing but lye. I will be closing my account today with either $800.00 or $400.00 missing. This bank steals from it's members to cover up it's own mistakes. The customer service was horrible. I will never return to such a deplorable bank and I regret the years I remained a loyal member.
