The Black Dog General Store is a wonderful spot and a classic gem, a staple of the area and a must to visit. It is the original store, a thing since before all the accessible stores located throughout the cape. The store has a great selection, with lots of fun and memorable stuff to choose from, including east coast clothing and merch. It is a very dog friendly place. The staff is amazingly helpful, friendly, and terrific, going above and beyond to help. They make customers feel very welcomed and answer any questions about the brand or its history, offering helpful advice about the clothes. It is a delightful and fantastic shopping experience, a common shopping stop for locals and visitors alike, earning easy five stars. Customers will definitely be shopping there again and telling their friends to do the same.

Went in there without thinking about buying. Saw the 1/4 zip soft material jacket. Had to buy it. Great store lovely staff.
