I booked a room here via an external site (no note of this abnormal policy) and a couple days later was shocked to come across buried on the main website that having an infant along with would incur a shocking $50/night surcharge. I have never seen this kind of fee anywhere else. I simply canceled and found accommodations elsewhere, grateful to have stumbled across this unexpected information. This was over a month in advance for an off season stay. I was then changed almost $30 fee for cancelling. Fee to avoid a fee, lose/lose! I called to explain the situation, politely requesting this fee be reversed and my request was refused. Be very sure off all the fine print before booking, pretty surprised this was the response. Feels lousy!

My wife and I went January 5th thru the 7th for our anniversary. We also had our 4Lb Maltese with us, which we paid $50 a night plus tax. I me good thing I can say about the room is that it was very clean. After that I was very disappointed and I would not recommend anyone I know to stay there. There are much better places I’ve stayed for less money. One issue I had was the shade in the bathroom, it was very transparent. I could see the building next to us clearly. All the other windows had curtains, not the bathroom, I had to hang one of my courts in front of the window for privacy. Another issue I had is that there was no coffee maker in the room. I have never stayed anywhere that didn’t have coffee maker in the room. Another issue was the rug that was in the bedroom. It was an area type rug that covered the entire floor. The issue was that the rug would slid on the floor and kept bunching up and I kept tripping on it. The last issue I had was the shower. There was a solid piece of glass that covered about 3/4 of the opening to the shower leaving the end opposite the shower head open. So in order to turn the shower on you had to be standing under the shower getting hit with the cold water until it got hot. Also with the shower I had to run it at low pressure because if I turned it up the water would go outside on the bathroom floor.Total it cost me about $700 for two nights. It’s the worst money I ever spent. I was really expecting more. The rooms looked like they were from the 50’s with a coat of paint.Food & drinks: We ate at Jacks which we could walk to as it was at the entrance to the parking lot. Good food and live music.

Had a very disappointing lunch today with 3 other people. Their meals were good my lunch of steak tips was terrible. I ordered midrare an got well done. Sent the dish back and by the time I got other 3 people were almost done. I had the waitress box the meal is up. Not impressed did not offer to reduce the bill. I think the steak tips were left over from another order. You need to have a discussion with your line cook. Was not impressed. Very disappointing

Wonderful stay the night before Thanksgiving and Thanksgiving night. The food at El’s Tavern Wednesday night and Thanksgiving did not disappoint. The Inn and rooms are classy, clean, cozy and comfortable. The staff is friendly and eager to please. Trish and John were very helpful. I wish I had gotten everyone’s name. Staff and guests were so friendly. Hopefully we have started a new tradition.

The rooms are ok and the setting is nice but the bar and restaurant are caught in a time warp from 1962. This is the kind of bar where people of a certain age with no melanin supporting hair follicles go to drink martinis and red wine and listen to live music played so softly that you'd swear they weren't there at all. Musicians who play here suddenly find out their amps do go down to 2. Zzzzzzzz

Just went for a dinner party. The service was great. Drinks were cape cod prices but good. Food was delicious. Unfortunately there was a very loud not great band. We had asked when booking if there was and was told no. So it was too loud and not quite the atmosphere we paid for for a retirement party.Food & drinks: Food was delicious. Servers were absolutely wonderfulNoteworthy details: If you book for an event double check about a band playing. It can get too loud in the room and hard to talk and hear each other

My husband and I got married at the Coonamessett, and we were blown away by everything. All the staff members are very kind and helpful, and Dawn was an excellent coordinator and made sure things went smoothly on our big day. The Lark Suite was also perfect for hair and makeup the morning of as well as for us to stay in as newlyweds. And the food is so delicious. Lovely property!

We stopped here with a group tour of 40 people for dinner. The restaurant itself is lovely and inviting. Our meals had been preordered, but immediately upon arrival, the staff were bringing out salads and rolls. The caesar dressing was very tasty. The gentleman taking alcoholic drink orders was very personable and attentive. My husband and I both had the baked haddock, mixed veggies and rice pilaf. Everything was done to perfection! The entire group from the chef to the servers was a well- oiled machine. Wonderful experience all around.

We recently stayed here while on a trip to Falmouth and had a great overnight stay. When we checked in, we dropped our bags in the room and then headed over to their restaurant where we enjoyed live music, alongside some delicious desserts, and drinks to cap off for the night. Then we settled into the room and it was just the most comfiest room ever, with a ton of space and just great amenities and decor. The bed linens were very comfortable and organic feeling, and the bath amenities were a top brand. We definitely recommend this hotel if you’re in Cape Cod

We celebrated my daughter and her husband's (Juliana and Karsen) wedding on October 6 2023 at the Coonamessett Inn in Falmouth MA, and I can't say enough about how amazing our experience was. From the 2 years of planning with Dawn up to the wedding day everything was exceptional. The staff was professional and pleasant to all the guests, A+++ .The buffet style dinner was delicious and the guests enjoyed every station. The venue was perfect for dancing and partying. We loved the place so much we had the rehearsal, wedding and brunch all at the Inn. We can't thank Dawn and the staff enough for making this very important life moment an absolute PERFECT day. A++++++

Fantastic hotel! Stayed here for Cape Cod Marathon weekend and it was a great choice. Bed was extremely comfortable, room was laid out in a relaxing way, employees who work there are customer focused, and I couldn’t be happier with our choice. Thank you!!

Loved our stay. The exterior was a little dated, the inside was perfect. Thoughtfully designed rooms, great breakfast, and an excellent location. Look forward to staying again.
