Deceptive and predatory. Will not provide printed copies of agreements, stack on an absurd ammount of hidden fees. Will not return calls. Next time I'll rent a box truck from U haul.UPDATE 1/11/24: Do not be fooled by the false concern in the response below. Having contacted them, as they asked, they upheld and defended the poor treatment and excessive charges. I encourage any of you reading this, change your credit card numbers and dispute all charges. Screw this place with a Phillips head.

I have used Water Street for Many years with my insurance and personal rentals. I booked 1 week in advance. They called me the day before and left a message. I went to get my rental and Connor asked for proof of residence. Never over all those years was I asked for this except when I signed up. I didn’t have it with me I had my insurance policy with me but he said it wasn’t good enough. He claimed it was stated in the voicemail I needed those document. It’s stated nowhere in the message I heard. I still have the message to this day and played it for my lawyer. I called customer service. People kept saying it’s a policy Electric bill/water bill/lease as proof of residence and it’s on the website. I’ve never been so mistreated from an agency in my life and it almost cost me my job. This is how a customer is treated? I filed 3 complaints and was ignored with no callback. Very very disappointed……

I rented from them for fifteen weeks straight I received the same bill for 57.96 I paid two weeks ago in the mail again today I received another bill for the same amount . The man who first took my money told me I could use my own transponder however they’re still trying to bill me for tolls after I dropped the car off they try to charge me for a toll someone else went thru and put a 25$ finance charge on it for the service when their employee told me to begin with to use my own ?? Sounds like a scam to me I already paid almost 7000$ to rent the car but now I’m receiving extra bills too not cool and when I asked to be contacted I get to fill out a survey instead. I hope someone’s doing there job somewhere this is crazy

I travel monthly with work. Each month - each one of the staff - Connor, Corey, Cedric, Gabe and Kam - greets me with a smile and is willing to help in different ways. Because I am limited on the class of car I can rent through work - they always do their best to accommodate me when I request to self-pay for an upgrade. It's always a quick process - in and out. I have a couple of choices around where I live and will not be deviating from these folks. Highly recommended.

Conner, Worst thing that ever happened to Water street, Fitchburg MA, location. They were great! After giving grace periods for horrible circumstances, He's the new sheriff in town so good luck to all of you. He withdrew money without my permission... Again, good luck.

Highly recommend! Great staff, communication was 10/10 and extremely accommodating. I Was recently involved in an auto accident shortly after the insurance company reached out to Fitchburg enterprise to make my reservation for a rental car. Almost immediately Kate had called me regarding the reservation and was extremely helpful throughout the whole process getting me into a rental asap. The customer service was outstanding and I cannot thank her enough. Thank you Kate for being so professional and helpful with me finding a car that would fit my needs, the fast and friendly service and overall wonderful experience.

My elderly mother tried to rent a car while her’s was in the shop (she got into a bad accident the day before,) and they claimed there was an unpaid balance from 2014. So now she’s out of a car and scrambling to figure out how this happened and why. Apparently back in 2014 my parents were told insurance would cover the cost, they went to our insurance company and they said “no we won’t cover it,” and then this Enterprise location just didn’t tell my parents about it…for ten years! Now my mother feels like a fool because these people choose not to do the bare minimum.

My family and I were 100% pleased with the service we received with Enterprise Car Rental in Fitchburg MA. Adam was especially helpful! He went above and beyond to help us. Here’s the story…I had reserved a car with Hertz in Fitchburg, days in advance. We were traveling out of state to witness my brother’s installation as the new pastor at his church. Needless to say, this was a big deal for our family. The night before we were scheduled to travel out of state, Hertz called to say they would not honor the rental! No explanation. No offer of compensation. NEVER AGAIN HERTZ! I was in a bit of a panic. We needed a larger vehicle to accommodate 3 adults, an 11 year old, and two car seats. It was late in the day. I immediately drove to ENTERPRISE where I met Adam. Rather than hurry me out the door so he could go home for the night, he actually took the time to make calls in an attempt to locate the vehicle we needed. He reserved a very large and comfortable SUV that made the travel so much easier. Can’t thank him enough. ENTERPRISE CAR RENTAL will forever be our go-to for car rentals. Thanks Adam!

Great service, They always on top of it They're very helpful and always on time when you reserve a car and if they don't have the vehicle that you reserve they always accommodate you for something of equal value or better

They charged me for 2 day rental when I only needed it for 1! They said I'd have to pick it up Saturday before noon in order to have it for all day Sunday, therefore charging me for an extra day rental. This wasn't right. I think they could have done more to accommodate me!!! It cost me Over $500.00!!!!

I rent often from the Fitchburg Massachusetts location. In fact my husband and I have been a loyal customer for twenty five years. Today we tried to rent. The lot had at least 10 vehicles. Two of which we have rented in the last few weeks. It was 11:50am. The enterprise agent stated she had no vecles to rent. This I am certain was not the truth. The truth is she was super busy. There were three customers waiting. One was just a return and he waited 15 to drop keys. To her credit she was running back and forth out back to help clean a specific vehicle for a customer. Being unable to rent a vehicle to go shopping was disappointing. Especially since there we so many vehicles available. I guess our business is not valued as it was too close to closing time. I would have appreciated the truth "I don't think I will be able to get to you" or none of the vehicle are clean".

I reserved my car online before I arrived and literally took me about 5 minutes to get in and drive off after arriving. Car was perfect for what I needed. The whole staff there were extremely likeable and friendly, especially Adam, who was very personable and helpful. The whole transaction was very simple and quick and I was more than pleased with it all. Will 100% be doing business with them again in the future!
