Natural nature comes from this place or any good for that matter I was pulled over and unfortunately, my rental car was impounded. I promptly told hertz Where at the car was and paid for all the fees The impound lot would not give me my property which included thousands of dollars Clothing and cosmetics, as well as my prescription medication my birth certificate and things I can never be replaced. I am immediately contacted customer service, which is pushing me one place to Another. Customer service did not help me at all. I went through all the proper steps had service numbers. They told me to wait 30 days after I’ve waited 30 days. They said it’s been over 30 days even though I called every week to check on it and they said since it was past the 30 days, they’re no longer responsible the location I rented the car from never answered the phone. My property was stolen by hertz. I am pursuing legal action at this moment yourself a favor and use enterprise.

I would strongly advise against renting from Hertz Car Rental – Fitchburg if you truly need a reliable car.
I had a confirmed reservation for noon. At 11:42 a.m., just 18 minutes before pick-up, Hertz canceled my reservation by text message. Their own policy states that if a customer cancels more than 23 hours before, there is a $50 fee, and a no-show can be charged up to $164.92. Yet, Hertz felt it was acceptable to cancel on me with virtually no notice, without penalty on their end.
I immediately called the location after receiving the text. The staff confirmed they had no vehicles available and, worse, admitted they could not reach out to nearby Hertz locations to correct their own mistake. The only response offered was a hollow “sorry.” No alternatives, no attempt to fix the problem, nothing.
This last-minute cancellation jeopardized an entire week of scheduled appointments and created unnecessary stress. The lack of professionalism and accountability is deeply disappointing, especially from a company of Hertz’s size.
Do not rent from this location if you actually need your reservation honored.

This is a zero stars review. Just called to get some information and the representative said no with a tone an hung up. I forgot his name but with customer car like this you would not have my money and I wouldn’t 't refer people neither

Whomever the women working here right now is an absolute ANGEL! Even at her busiest times, she always has a smile on her face. I never would have come back to Hertz again if it weren't for her and I will ONLY be coming to the Fitchburg location from now on

The fact that you have one women running around doing everything while also having a bunch of men sitting around doing nothing is wild! I'd say get better people at this location but the manager in training is running circles around these guys!
Hire about 2-3 more of her and this location will do just fine

Very poor Customer service. Location was filthy, the furniture was worn. Price did not match what I was quoted when I booked the reservation. I would not recommend!

This whole process for a rental I was not at fault for in an accident has taken more than 45 minutes and a lot of stress. In the mean time, there's been lack of communication between the person helping me and myself, confusion between a $500 hold (says so inside the store at their desks) and a $50 hold which it turned out to be, 10000% would not recommend this location to anyone.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Came to get a car rental after my fiance was in an accident. They want a card on file even with the other party’s insurance covering it but there’s confusion over what the hold on the card will be, so we wait until it’s figured out next day. When we’re signing for the car, there are a hundred other fees and things he’s asking us if we want to add and not knowing how to even explain them to us. Says it’s a flat fee instead of a daily fee, for example. It truly doesn’t seem like anyone knows what they’re doing here and if it weren’t for a this being chosen as the place we HAVE to go to, we would’ve went somewhere else immediately. All the hassle we already have to go through dealing with being hit by another driver, we certainly didn’t need this mess added to it.

Needed a rental last minute and reluctantly called the Fitchburg location after reading the negative reviews, I'm so happy I did!!!
I dealt with Denico and all I can say is she made my day with her professionalism and charm, an absolute gem of a person.
Denico will be an area manager of Hertz within a year, do yourself a favor and ask for her.
The new staff is fantastic!!! 5 STARS

I reserve the compact SUV. They offered me a small electric car when I arrived and said I had to pay extra to get a real compact SUV. I had to dispute the charges to Hertz central office. I will never ever get another vehicle from this location. The woman employee was extremely inconsiderate.

The african lady that has her hair up like mickey mouse, is absolutely the rudest lady I've ever dealt with. Im a presidential member there, and she treated me like ive never rented from them. I have never been treated the way she did by any customer service representative ever. My friend was there aswell and also tried to get a car in his name with a credit card and she denied him because of spite.

Extremely unprofessional and unethical. I was told three times that smoking was a violation and im not sure if it was because I was a minority or not, but I have no problem with hearing. I heard the older employee the first time it was said. He was extremely rude and more focused on telling me that when he should have been more focused on doing his job by having the vehicle clean and ready when I arrived.
