Go get your inspection done elsewhere. Told me my car needs serious work and tried to swindle me out of nearly a grand. Went to another place and it passed convincingly.

Same issue as most people was lie about my car having problems and didn’t pass my inspection come to find out he wanted to charge me 700 plus just to fix all my problems. Didn’t give me paper with all the things wrong with my car. Check later on half the stuff he blah about was a lie had a mechanic check. This place is a scam and will be reported to the state attorney for investigation

I mean the reviews speak for themselves. These guys are running a racket. Will fail your inspection so you end up spending more to get you car “fixed”

Stated that originally my drivers side ball joint was no good. Then second guessed himself and said it was my axle. “Discounted price” was estimated for $80 and hour when sign posted outside says they charge $55 and hour for labor. Next.

Dude failed my inspection saying my ball joint was bad but I just replaced them, talked me down like I didn’t know what I was talking about. Never go to this place as a woman especially by yourself, they love to scam and rip people off. I honestly don’t even care that this post is public I’m never going there again. I should’ve listened to the warnings.

As a car guy I don't tend to develop the sort of ongoing business relationship one needs with a mechanic to ensure a smooth and non-adversarial state inspection process. The guys at Johnny's have always been reasonable with me despite me not shoveling a bunch of gravy work their way.
