Requested an item be packaged and their response was "We do not accept these jobs for liability reasons. I am happy to provide you with pricing, should you be interested in using us as your shipper. -Alex S. Asst. Manager.
So, a business that generates revenue for packaging services, but will not package, due to liability reasons. But, they will package an item for you if you allow them to arrange and ship the packaged item. So, where does the liability for them cease? Certainly not having them package your item, because either way, whether they charge you the inflated shipping I assure you they are charging, or you provide them a shipping label from your UPS or FedEx account, they still must package the item.
What it boils down to is inflating the shipping cost, pushing your box into the back room while waiting for UPS or FedEx to pick up. I challenge them to prove to me, or any of their prospective Customers that the do not inflated the cost of shipping.

The businesses name is obviously "Quick Pack & Ship" which would suggest they package items for Customers, yet they DO NOT. Well, I will qualify that. They will not pack your item unless you allow them to ship it. Why is that? Because they are inflating the cost of shipping? Yes, definitely.

I am not in MA, and I recently I bought a heavy (almost 40 pounds) antique traffic signal from a seller in MA. The signal has extremely rare glass reflectors and lenses - and metal and glass shipped together often results in a sad box of metal and shards at the destination. Not so with QP&S! The seller gave the QP&S staff my number so I could discuss how best to pack the signal. I spoke with Alex, who was very friendly and understanding of the details regarding my parcel (e.g., putting bubble wrap between the lenses and reflectors).. I could tell he was going to pack it as conscientiously as another avid collector might. They used FedEx Ground, which worked out great; a very fast ship and the box was well labeled and well-handled. So, this did all cost me a couple hundred dollars with insurance, but I paid it gladly, because any cost-cutting on a shipment like this would have been a huge risk of me having to spend the rest of my short life trying to track down replacement reflectors for a scarce 1930s traffic light.

I just dropped off a FedEx package-a pair of expensive shoes- already paid for shipping. Asked for a receipt, just Incase they don't return them or something else happens. They change me $ 1.00 for a receipt! Such a rip off , I won't be back

We purchased a antique crock from a auction. Qwik Pack & Ship was responsible for packing and shipping our antique. Well they failed at packing because they put two crocks in together in the same box with no protection from hitting each other. Well my antique came broken. We contacted Qwik Pack & Ship to notify them that the crock was broken and yes we paid for insurance on them. We have sent many emails pictures everything they asked for. Its been two months and yesterday we contacted them and they told us the insurance money was there. Now they said there would be a credit put back on my card. I checked the bank well it wasnt a credit now they were trying to charge us again. We contacted them and told them you owe us a credit not a charge. The next day it was gone and no credit. Today I contacted them and got the runaround and the man I was speaking to told me I was wasting his time and hung up on me. I want my refund now! This is the worst shipping company I have ever dealt with. If you want your antiques or what ever you have purchased to come like you expect dont use this company. If you do and your antiques are broken they will treat you bad.

I purchased a FedEx shipping label online to ship some golf clubs. This was all prepaid and I already had the shipping label. Went to Qwik Pack & Ship to just drop the box off. I was told there's a $5 handling fee to do this. I asked why this is the case as it wasn't mentioned when I paid for the shipping already online. They said it's the locations fee. This makes no sense to me. They make money off FedEx, I have to pay for handling also? I brought the box in myself and placed it on the pile of boxes awaiting the driver to take them. There's no handling. Seems underhanded. Will never use this service again.

My sister and I went here today for help in shipping. She had picked up some antiques during her Cape Cod stay. Alex was awesome! He was able to help us with our needs and was so kind to my sister, who needs a hip replacement. Even though they don't have a customer lobby, he immediately asked her if she'd like a chair and he provided her a place to sit while we worked. As I looked around I noticed that they had quite a few delicate items to ship. It turns out that they ship for several antique dealers and auction houses. Great to see how they packaged things so carefully!
