Be very careful when you sign the final rental agreement. The paper and ink might be from the 1980s and you would think, oh well I can trust the rental folks, it’s just a matter of goodwill, but heads-up if you find an error on the part of the desk rep and try to fix it later, the response you will get is - you should have checked the agreement before signing.1) Fuel gauge reported when renting was incorrect on the agreement (which is printed on 1980’s paper). Gas was half full, but noted as full. The guy at the desk confidently said, get the car back half full and I’ll take care of you. Surely, I was taken care of and there was someone else at the desk when returning who very calmly said we will bill you for the fuel. Glad I took a photo of the odometer. Common courtesy would have been hey, we think the car should have been returned with a full tank as our records show you had a full tank when you rented it. Room to improve on customer service, probably yes.2) e-toll pass added without confirmation. Was having a simple conversation with the service rep when renting regarding toll pass since an upgrade was available and he mentioned that toll pass will be no added cost with the upgrade. We ended up not taking the upgrade and going with the basic car and using our own transponder (did the whole add the car to EZpass thing). Tried to get the ez pass removed from the final bill, but customer rep was not willing to consider the case. I can understand company policy and stuff but what was probably needed was a Genuine effort to understand the situation and make an attempt to resolve the case and not come from a perspective where you have already made up your mind about the outcome and tell the customer, well you should have read the agreement before signing (printed on 1980s paper with the same years ink and printer).Anyways, seems like a local small family run store so wouldn’t want to hurt the business by posting a negative review. The customer rep was trying some version of their best to try and manage the situation and I’d like to think this was not one of the best days/timing for them or for me and we are all human and try to balance multiple hats. The overall experience was okay. But is there scope for improvement? Yes for sure

The lady at the counter was very friendly and professional. With little hope, we came here hoping to fix a mistake made by the Logan airport Avis store, she was able to help us get the mistake fixed very quickly.

I use AVIS Car rental at this location and the STAFF are ALWAYS GREAT to work with. I've rented at least 10 times and always find them to be helpful, friendly, accommodating, and very fast. (This is a busy location.) Also the cars are always clean and well cared for. Highly recommend.

Watch for the RSN charge. I specifically told them I did not want roadside assistance because I have AAA but it ended up on my bill at the end of the rental. The guy at the counter was dismissive when I asked to remove it. Said he could remove it but didn’t want to. I also heard him tell a customer he had no cars available as I was dropping it off.

I wish there is a minus infinity rating available to give to this location. Messy and incompetent associate at this location would not mind giving you a rental car without state inspection or an updated license plate registration to drive. You wouldn’t be surprised if you have to stay outside and wait since the associate might lock the door and go somewhere for 30 minutes during the time of your car pick up. Stay away. This location is terrible with poor customer service and safety practice.

Most of these reviews are old. We had a great experience renting a cargo van to move our daughter from Boston to Delaware. The one way trip was no problem, pricing was very reasonable, customer service was excellent, and the vehicle was very comfortable and easy to drive. We would definitely rent here again.

Terrible car selection. We rented a car with prior damage on the car. Avis later blamed us for the damages that should have been already on file. The guy at the desk did not put in the damage on the report and claimed to say that the car was not in any prior accident, when there were clear signs of paint pealing. Long story short.. make sure they document and you take photos of the condition the car is in before driving off.

DO NOT BOOK!! We booked a 9am reservation with full travel plans for the day. Avis called at 9am day of to inform us that they had ZERO cars for TWENTY reservations. Explain to me how you can screw up TWENTY reservations and not have a single car on hand. Terribly unprofessional experience, please do not book with this branch.

Staff was friendly .3 stars as it was the first Avis location where they inspected the car in too much detail before and after . Also the staff was not fully aware about corporate perks .As an individual every thing went fine but this could have been little better
