Great place to hang out. The seller, when asked if the stuffed peppers were fresh, looked into his eyes and sincerely stated that yes). After the purchase, it turns out that the peppers have long been rotten and are sold frozen as if they were fresh))) After heating them in the microwave, the stench in the kitchen is as if an environmental disaster had occurred. And this is not the first time, the kebab on sticks was also frozen and rotten. When we returned the kebab back to the store, the seller could not even smell it, since the smell was extremely appetizing. Plus, these peppers are in the counter with the rest of the prepared food, and this is on Friday, “Market Day.” I hope this island of stability will close with maximum losses.

Such an awesome Russian grocery store! It’s not every day I get to speak in Russian anymore so it was great getting to speak it and find some foods I haven’t had in a long time. They have some really good candy finds in here. Highly recommend.

Still plenty of goods from Russia despite their assuring that they bring goods from other countries after Russian started the war. They can easily bring same very similar goods from Ukraine, Armenia, Moldova, Kazakhstan, etc. When I was getting the salads, the seller put the salad that dropped on the shelf of the fridge back to the bowl. My second time seeing hygiene issues there.

I’ve been a regular customer at Bazar Framingham for a while, and while it used to be great, the quality has noticeably declined. My recent experience was particularly disappointing.
I purchased crab meat salad and blinzes (pancakes) with beef, and both items seemed expired. The blinzes were sour as if they had been sitting on the shelf for a long time, and the crab meat salad tasted like spoiled mayonnaise. It was clear the deli food was not fresh. Unfortunately, my daughter and I ended up hungry after spending money on spoiled food.
While Bazar offers a unique selection of Russian foods like buckwheat, herring, zefir, candies, farmer cheese, etc, I strongly recommend checking expiration dates carefully before purchasing. It's a shame to see the quality decline, and I hope they take steps to improve.

Some items are expired and don't taste well, like pancakes with beef. Theres not enough seasoning, salt, etc... Not made with love- effort to make food taste good.
Workers are friendly.

Absolutely amazing, even if you aren't interested in eastern European/Slavic cuisine. Most of the year the produce is excellent, so much better than market basket. Larger, juicier and sweeter. In the winter however things are slightly more mixed so choose carefully. The prices are also excellent, I don't know how or why but everytime I come here the bill is always under 50$, usually under 30$. At market basket it always seems to be pushing 70 or even 100$.So please support this store, it's hard for a business to keep prices low for our benefit, and they will need all the help they can get .
