Cushing Memorial Park is a popular and versatile outdoor space in Framingham. It offers a large, open area with plenty of trees and shade, making it ideal for walking, biking, skating, and relaxing. The park is wheelchair friendly and has a unique path through the reservoir, along with a bike and skateboard park, and a fenced-in dog park where many dog owners enjoy socializing and walking their pets. There are benches scattered throughout, providing spots to sit and enjoy the surroundings. Visitors appreciate the park’s spaciousness, which is larger than Boston Common, and its peaceful atmosphere, often with few crowds and ample parking. For families, there’s an artist playground that adds a fun and different element for kids. The park is suitable for all ages and weather conditions, with visitors often walking dogs regardless of the weather. Drove there specifically to check it out. If you are local, it's certainly a really nice place to hang out. There's a unique path through the reservoir, bike/skateboard park and even a fenced in dog park. But I don't think it's worth driving for more than 30 minutes.
