Some of the employees don't care to ask you if you need help. Instead they just go on with stocking the shelves or grabbing online pickup orders. A few of the shelves were empty. Many products had dust on them. Customer service is not good. The online inventory didn't match with what was in the actual store.

I went to Ulta to just ask a simple question on which curling iron I should use. I didn't think that would lead me to pay $55. Stephanie, the girl who I spoke to, had me sit in her chair to test one of the flat irons on my hair to see how it would look. The flat iron that she used didn't work on my hair. She then washed my hair and then dried it out. She then used the same flat iron that she used the first to curl my hair and it still didn't work. She then used a wand on my hair, which worked. When she was done, she combed out all of the curls, which it's just straight no curls.

This review is specifically about Steph, a stylist at Ulta who is absolutely fabulous. She is an expert with curly hair, obviously takes pride in her craft, extremely knowledgeable about techniques, products, hair health, structure, etc. Besides being excellent at what she does -- seriously, my curly hair has never ever looked as good as when she cut and styled it -- she's also a really lovely person, a pleasure to talk to and makes you feel like she genuinely cares about you. I can't recommend her highly enough!!! So happy to have found her - a hidden gem for the curly haired!

Very disappointed in this particular store. None of the items I'd seen on line were not available. Everyone seemed to busy to care. I recommend Ulta Beauty, just check out different stores. Bellingham has a great store .

The store looks much cleaner from a year ago. However when I asked where something was I hoped an associate would walk me over instead of pointing where it would be (personal opinion- no big deal).
However, when I see a manager arguing with a customer at the register…it’s uncomfortable and I don’t find it necessary. There’s other ways to handle difficult situations without it escalating.

Stephanie is a wonderful hair stylist!! She goes in depth about the products and their benefits. She also takes her time to really work through the hair and ensures that you’re getting the best service possible!! I highly recommend booking with her

My husband and I went into the Framingham location today and will never return after being treated with the utmost disrespect by associate, “Stephanie.” I approached her nicely and said, “Excuse me, do you have this eyebrow pencil in a full size?” She was extremely upset that I didn’t ask her how her day was going prior to inquiring about the product, and told me she’d check and walked towards the back of the store. I asked her to hold on so I can show her the item and the shade. She said she knew it was “Fantasia.” I corrected her and said it’s “Anastasia,” and asked how she knew which shade I needed. She furiously continued on her way towards the back of the store (these products are located in a locked droor at the front of the store next to the Anastasia shelves, as I witnessed the manager subsequently check, so Stephanie never intended on assisting me in a purchase).
I spoke to the manager, “Jolene,” and relayed what occurred. She indicated that she knew Stephanie and that she wouldn’t do it “purposely,” and it must have been a “misunderstanding.” Actually, Stephanie’s behavior was purposeful and there was no misunderstanding. Stephanie refused to assist me in making a purchase because I neglected to ask her how she was doing prior to inquiring about a product. She treated me with absolute disrespect and she should not be working in a customer service position. At the very least, she should be reprimanded and trained on products sold at Ulta, and how to treat and assist customers.

Did not realize I would need my ID to pickup an order. Literally 90 degrees outside walking back to my car… to not even check my ID when I went back inside😅 I was more than happy to do it when I thought it was necessary, but now a little annoyed:)

I bought some travel shampoo online. The order was ready when I went in to pick it up. Very quick and easy.

The newest management is the rudest and most unprofessional people I’ve ever seen at Ulta ! When asking a question in the store they look at you like you own them something ! It seems like they’re uneducated in makeup skincare , as any question you ask they don’t know nothing! The waiting at the cashier lines are ridiculous 2 employees are working while other 2 just chitchat and laugh ! Avoid this location ! I’ll never shop there again

This Ulta location is an absolute disaster. The store is in constant disarray, products everywhere, shelves half-stocked, testers look like they’ve been through a war zone, and don’t even get me started on the cleanliness. It’s embarrassing. The managers are completely lost. It’s like watching a sinking ship captained by people who have never seen water. There is zero communication, no structure, and absolutely no accountability. It’s a rotating door of confusion and micromanagement from people who seem more concerned with power-tripping than running a functional store. Employees are treated like garbage. Yelled at in front of customers, blamed for everything that goes wrong, and expected to hold the place together while being chronically understaffed and unsupported. The energy is toxic. Morale is non-existent. Everyone walks on eggshells while management barks orders and plays favorites. If you’re a customer, good luck finding help or anything in stock…run. Fast. This place doesn’t just need improvement it needs a new leadership team with basic human decency and competence. Bring back the old leadership team we all loved shopping here before they came in!
