Recently I got a new pair of glasses and run into a snag after working with several individuals I finally was able to work with Michelle @ Framingham Location.I can't say enough wonderful things about her and taking ownership and addressing the situation.

Exam and picking glasses was great. However, I was offered an optional service, so I asked what it would cost. The employee (who had all of my insurance details) told me my insurance covered it. Nine months later they billed me for it. I don't appreciate being billed for a service which I agreed to because I was told it wouldn't cost me anything. If you don't know if insurance will cover it, that's fine, but tell me that; don't lie to me and say it will.

My Husband and I both came here recently. We both had wonderful experiences. The eye exam was quick and thorough. We picked out some frames while we waited and ordered quickly. We really appreciate that they did not overly sell to us, or persist to purchase upgrades. It was straightforward and quick. Thank you!

Such a disappointing customer service experience at Visionworks in Farmingham this morning. I walk into my 9:20 appointment at 9:10am, only to be told my appointment has been cancelled because they don't have a doctor on site. I asked the receptionist why there wasn't a notification and she said she left me a voicemail cancelling the appointment 10 minutes prior. A voicemail I never received because I was driving to my appointment. Meanwhile the manager/owner stood there speechless without even offering an apology for the inconvenience they created. Zero accountability. Is 20 minutes sufficient notice for a doctor to cancel an appointment? Poor business processes and an ineptitude towards customer experience represents the exact type of business I stay clear of. I would recommend any Harvard Pilgrim Health care member who received a recent mailer from Visionworks to stay clear as well. They will waste your time

Had an awful experience with this store. I had come in for an eye exam in February and was interested in switching to daily contacts. I called every month until July trying to get them and for some reason or the other they never had them. It is now 10/02 and I just received a call that they are in. Not only that, but I’m responsible to pay for another eye exam if the trial lenses don’t work for me. I’d recommend trying somewhere else if you don’t have time to play around.

In 2020, we received excellent service. This year, 2023, they tried to sell us unnecessary options. They didn't notify us when my daughter's glasses came in. One of the legs just came off when we were cooking. Visionworks said it was broken & cannot be replaced. Poor service & poor condition of their frames. I get my glasses from Firmoo online, they go out of their way for their customers, please go somewhere else.

Booked appointments online, got several text messages asking me to confirm, which I did. Got emails asking me to prefill the forms which I did. Arrived for the appointment and the extremely rude and weirdly confrontational person at the front desk said ‘oh we tried to call you, but you didn’t answer, so we canceled the appointments.’ Didn’t offer any explanation or resolution, and instead argued with me that the forms and confirmations I had submitted online ‘were from a third party’. The email said it was from Visionworks, so god knows who has all my personal information now. Two other staff members were just standing there staring at my family while this was going on. Bizarre place- I will never set foot in again.

I had a disappointing experience with one of the desk personnel at Visionworks today. The individual I interacted with seemed disinterested and unhelpful. They didn't provide clear information about next available slots and seemed impatient when I asked questions. This lack of customer service left a negative impression on my visit. I hope they can improve their customer interactions in the future.

Booked online, confirmed appointment via text, submitted admission forms via email, arrived for appointment and was told that it was cancelled because they had tried to call me to get the same information I submitted online. Front desk person was combative and rude. I don't understand the attitude but there's a million other places to get glasses, so don't waste your time with these folks.

I had an excellent experience at Visionworks in Framingham. The customer service from the staff, especially Dean the Manager, was outstanding. Dean went above and beyond to ensure my kids had a great experience. With the help of the Optician, we purchased 3 pairs for my kids and 2 pairs for myself. This has been the best experience I've ever had at an eyewear store. Thank you, Dean and Visionworks in Framingham! We are customers for life!

A terrible and frustrating and still on-going experience. Ordered and paid for glasses 27 days ago, nothing yet. Very frustrating as my current glasses are damaged. As of tomorrow it's 4 weeks. Congrats to Visionworks, Shoppers World in Framingham, MA. It's an all new low!

I ordered and paid for badly needed new glasses 27 days ago from the Visionworks located at Shoppers World in Framingham. No glasses yet. It wasn't my first time there, maybe my 3rd time getting glasses from them if not the 4th. The pair I have now has a bad chip right in front of one eyeball. The chip was not their fault to be sure but imagine 27 days of waiting under those circumstances. A continual distortion in front of one eye and no idea when or if they will resolve this situation.Save your sanity, go elsewhere.

Very nice experience at Vision Works !From Katie pre exam to Dr. R for great eye exam and answers to all of my concerns. To Patrick whom help me select the perfect pair of glasses. Staff was kind, friendly & helpful. I have been going to Vision Works for years and will certainly continue. Thanks Vision Works team ??
