Long time to change tires. No help. Not managed well

A lot of wasted time saving a few hundred dollars. Have to go to BJs and pay for tires and make an appointment a week later. I booked 12:00 on Sunday where I waited for 20 minutes before someone came into the waiting area to help me. I was going to wait but them got a ride home. The car wasn't ready until 3:30 Only one person was was working in the tire service for the day. Bad management at the Franklin Store

Both people working at the tire center were extremely nice. The tires were installed as promised. The waiting area was clean and comfortable.

Went there for an all wheel alignment for my AWD car, I paid for an all wheel alignment, came back 2 hours later, they only did the front left wheel and didn’t do the other three because they “couldn’t get them loose” I never got a refund, they told me to go get them loosened at another shop and come back. Which I hardly had time for the alignment that day, also could not contact them they never answer their phones. NEVER GO TO BJS

Just had tires installed yesterday, dropped the car off the night before - they don't have a drop slot but got there in time to give the keys at the desk. I think it was the manager I dealt with, very friendly and had the car done by 10am the next day. The warranties and prices getting tires done at BJs are great.

Paid for alignment but the alignment was completely out of whack and needed to be redone. Balancing was improper and had to be redone. Hidden charges for tpms valve that was not disclosed. Incompetent crew has no idea what they are doing. No one calls you to say that you are done. Long wait before you can reach them on phone and you will be lucky to reach them at all. Avoid at all costs.

Terrible, defensive, clueless and rude.Installer calls me and tells me they are closing early and asks me to come in a couple of hours early to do install- fine, seeing I had multiple online orders cancelled I just wanted tires installed at this point. Get to the tire center only one guy is working there- during the install he comes out to me and tells me my battery is dead. I scratched my head, relatively new battery, just took my car to my mechanic the week previously. After trying to jump my car tech comes out to me saying car won’t start at all- I need a tow and they push my car out to the lot. Ok, while on the phone trying to set up a tow, about 30mins later the tech tells me “your car just started, I tried something with your neutral safety switch and it was broken and you should take it right to a mechanic because it might not start again”. Again, scratching my head, nothing wrong with my car until I brought it in. Tech didn’t even do my alignment because he ran out of time (3:30?). Next day, took my car to my mechanic, said there was nothing wrong with the safety switch.FF two days later- while driving home I hear a loud clanking noise from my front tire, so now I’m concerned my tire/wheel isn’t on right. Call the tire center, tech says bring it in they’ll take a look and make sure it’s safe to drive. Get to the center, talk to the tech at the desk and say “I was driving and heard a noise from wheel after hitting bump” tech responds, “ you didn’t tell me you hit a bump, we’re not mechanics, we’re just tire guys, if there’s something wrong with your car we can’t fix it” and explains to me before even checking the tire all the things it could be, like a wheel bearing, suspension issue, etc (even though he just said he wasn’t a mechanic). I ask him if he’s going to take a look, and then repeats himself saying he will but he’s not a mechanic, etc- he then tells me how he’s “doing me a favor” by even looking at my car. It’s clear to me here that any problem he finds he will blame on me, someone else, the sky, etc, so after losing my cool (which I admit I shouldn’t have) I went into the store and spoke with the mgr who was no better. I start explaining to the store mgr what happened two days previously and the mgr tells me, “your car didn’t start so that means there was something wrong with it”. I left. These guys are clowns, I don’t trust them to be honest with me about any problems because that assigns blame to themselves which they’ll never admit. They just close ranks, become defensive and lie. I’ll just take my car to my own mechanic who I trust.Don’t buy any big ticket item at BJ’s. Fine for food and every day items, but just expect frustration and no support whatsoever. Definitely do not use the tire center at this location (and probably all BJ’s). Better to save yourself frustration and go elsewhere.

Did a pick up order and got sold moldy produce. I tried to call them to see if they'd make it right and it rang and rang nobody picked up. Their mobile app sucks and you can't initiate returns. What's the point of mobile order if I have to go into the store for a $5.39 item.

Please please have one more than 1 associate working a register. No one wants to use selfCheck out in bulk!!! I could understand if it was a staffing issue but there were 3 staff members directing to selfCheck out but it ultimately not helping any customers.

The recent 1-star reviews all seem to be within the past 9 months from the time of writing this review. I can't speak for anything post 2020, but my experiences with BJs Tire have been wholly positive. I've gotten two sets put on by them, and a few flats fixed for free. Currently my go to place for tires.

This will be short and sweet. The prices were great AND their pumps are upgraded so that you can scan your card from the app on your phone. The last time I tried this at the BJ's closest to my home, I was unable to scan my card on my phone and they could only accept the physical plastic card at the pump. I stopped at another gas station off the highway a few exits into MA and left when I saw that premium gas was $4.89/gallon! I was glad to pay their price here after seeing that.I added a photo when I checked in to show the price. But now I don't see it! Premium was $4.30 something. So between $4.30 and $4.39 somewhere, which is so much better than $4.89! I definitely saved a few bucks here.

Bought 4 Goodyear tires with free installation, the guy's are good but the policy wouldn't allow them to install them because of I having a little rust on my vehicle so I had to pay $150 for the installation wich is unfair to me. Hopefully this is helpful to poor people who can't afford a new car.
