DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE SWINDLED!!!!Whoever this Lori I person is, she is definitely related to or friends with the owners. It's the only good review in the past 4 years. Like many others, I went there for my inspection. They said they could get me in right away, which they did, and now I know it's because Lori probably didn't need anything done that day because no one else would go there. I should have looked at reviews, but I was already a month overdue and really in a bind. Of course they found something "wrong" and tried to bully me into replacing the part there. I don't know anything about cars but felt like I was being taken advantage of because they were being so aggressive and even tried to convince me that I wouldn't be safe driving home to try to get me to do the work there. When I finally got out of there, I went to another shop to get a second opinion, and what do you know, they told me it would need to be replaced soon but it was fine for now. They passed my inspection and I spent $70 (for 2 inspections) that day instead of the $1000 these swindlers wanted to charge me. Thank God I trusted my gut.

Best auto service we have ever been to. My husband and I have been going to Franklin Gas & Autocare for at least 10 years. For auto repairs, oil changes and inspections. And now my son goes also, and my daughter will be going soon. Sam & Emilio are great guys and they are great mechanics. We have some old cars and they always correctly diagnose and fix the problem. We trust them 100% and have peace of mind knowing that they are taking care of our family's safety on the road. They are the fastest and most efficient mechanics we have ever been to. And they are honest, we have never been charged for work that didn't need to be done. Their prices can't be beat. We are thankful we found Franklin Gas & Autocare.

** warning** We went there to get a inspection sticker and we were failed because the emergency break would not hold, The service guy said bring it back tomorrow morning and I'll take care of you. We were then told that additionally we need suspension and break work to a total of $1200. When we explained we were going to bring it somewhere else to have it fixed , they were not happy. The next time we started the car it started misfiring and all the check engine lights came on. Was determined when we brought to our mechanic that this Franklin shop threw something in the gas tank. Do not trust anyone here and do not bring your car here if you can help it.

Definitely the best car and gas services in town. I highly recommend them to keep your car running safely and reliably. Oil change was fast and easy and they are always half what a dealer would charge when I get tire and brake and electrical work. The guys are the best!!

Charged me $90 to remove the splash guard, that was falling off, from the bottom of my car. Something that literally took him less than a minute to do. When I protested he said they charge a minimum of $90 to bring it into the garage and that I should have asked how much it would cost before.

Simply horrendous experience. Terrible customer service and terrible experience. I have a wife who just had a C-section, a 1-year old, and an infant at home so I needed a quick inspection and oil change so I could get back home. I called and explained this and they said it would be 10 minutes, 20 tops. Instead, they kept me waiting for over 90 MINUTES! There was never a word of explanation or apology. Finally after an hour I asked what was going on and how long it would be. I'm still not exactly sure what the explanation was. I think it was due to the fact that I got an oil change and inspection (never mind this is what I said on the call) so apparently each of those by themselves are quick, but together for some reason take an hour and half. I will never go here again and would strongly recommend that anyone reading this find another service center.

I called his place because my registration hadn’t come in the mail yet and I needed an inspection sticker, they confirmed with me that they could provide an inspection over the phone so I took the drive to the shop.When I arrived the man at the front desk was not only rude but aggressive (not the way I wanted to start).After providing him with the old registration and paperwork from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts stating that my registration was valid he tells me that I can no longer get an inspection and I would have to wait until my registration came in the mail. Huge waste of time and very poor customer service .I wouldn’t record place recommend this place to anyone I care about.
