I had a very difficult decision to make today . Dr Wesley is my Vet. He is the most caring and compassionate Vet I have ever had. I thank him for the opportunity to have him taking care of my pets. Alice his technician who assisted, was incredibly and truly compassionate also. To all the staff thank you I know you loved Zen too.

What business closes between 12 and 2 every day? switched vets because they’re booked 3 months out for emergencies for my pet so I’m left with tufts which is triple the price of a normal vet for emergencies. Sorry Franklin vet but figure it out.

ADDENDUM: I had a wonderful conversation with a vet and I now want to change my review with 5 stars and a renewed confidence and compassion in and for Franklin Veterinary Clinic. Communication is the key to most issues. Should I have another issue, I will communicate it directly to the staff instead of to Google.I've been seeing veterinarians at Franklin Veterinary Clinic since 2001. I called recently telling unknown receptionist my dog had a blaring ear infection. Sure, we can see your dog in 12 days she says. My reply is that unacceptable. The vets know me, they'll trust me with medicine and my dog cannot live in an infected state till you can see him. They did ultimately give me the meds and he healed before the date he was to be seen.Another call with a suspected ACL Tear- sure come in 13 days. Seriously? 13 days ? They always had time to see me for urgent matters. In 2023 I noticed a huge change. No longer does the front desk know who you're calling about and this unknown person makesa judgment call based on availability rather than urgency of matter. What has happened to your compassionate practice Dr. Castillo?Please tell me why you don't leave room in your schedule for urgent visits? My mechanic is more accessible than you are. Please tell me that is wrong.

Doctors are nice and helpful for the most part. I find their pricing for shots to be a little pricer than local clinics but they do also do the full exam at that time and get to know your pet better so that's a plus. The front desk always seems to be a bit irritated or inconvenienced in my opinion though. Maybe we have just caught them at a bad time most times. But, that's our experience!

I have had great experiences with the team at Franklin Veterinary Clinic since I’ve started bringing my pets their about two years ago. They take the time to make you and your pets feel at ease, fully explain the situation regarding your pet, and treat you and your furry friend with respect. As a Guinea pig owner, I know from experience that small animal care can be hard to find. I especially appreciate Dr. Castillo, who is very knowledgeable and shows that he values and cares about small pets. You can trust the Franklin team to show your pets love and the highest level of care.

We moved to the area. We needed a veterinarian. We have been there twice. Loved how clean the place is. Dr Gray is the best. She is taking care of our one-eyed 16 year old cat. Definitely would recommend it.

The care is okay, but this place is very disorganized.My first encounter years ago they never called me the day before surgery to tell me to withhold food and water. Found out the next day and they said it made the procedure more dangerous.Next, when my cat was pregnant, the doctor said yes she was, but wanted to do a scan. Came back and send the scan did not provide anything new, but charged me $100 for it anyway.Another time they did not give me enough medication, and they said it was okay if it only lasted a day or two, then my cat got sick again and had to pay for a whole other bottle.They are running a raffle right now that if you buy 6 months of frontline, you get entered into a raffle. Instead they said they were out of stock and tried to sell me 5, which means I would miss out on the rebate and the raffle and get less medication all for more money….I only continue to go here because they are so close and have been my vet since I have had these cats, but I am growing weary of continuing to bring them here. It seems like maybe this clinic is more geared towards dogs honestly.
