“For Patrick up there... .. just admit you got the wrong color and tried to return it after you already had it tinted... they put a little dab on the top so you can see the color on the can too. Accidents do happen but it sounds like u made a few mistakes while ordering your paint... 1 being that eggshell is the finish (level of shine between flat and satin) and it is NOT the name of the color.... when a mistake is made on their end, they absolutely will give you the right color and take back the can of paint that was the wrong color”

Been regularly going there since they do carry whatever I can't find at the big dealers, and the sons are the most helpful and kindest dudes you will ever meet. “I needed to repaint my vinyl shutters and door and I read that the best paint for this is Benjamin Moore. Off I went to Triboro. They explained all of my choices and I picked my paint chips. After much deliberation, I returned and picked my color. I carried my paint home and started to paint. It was pink! Not just pink but screaming neon pink! OMG, what did I do? I rushed back to the store. Yes they could fix my chosen color to a better color. I went home with my new color and it was …pink, not neon, but still pink. Back I went again and they tweaked my color again. This time I got exactly what I wanted, a deep, rich burgundy. I think with all of the back and forth, I met every employee in the store. They were all professional, lovely and kind. They all worked so hard to help me. I just finished my project and I am happy to say that it looks fabulous. I have always bought my paint at the big box stores. Not any more. I strongly recommend Triboro Benjamin Moore. Even if you screw up your color, they will fix it so that you will be proud of the final result.”

“We spent 12 hours painting our bedroom(primer, then paint). It was not easy, it was hard work due to how the room is set up. We had started the paint once the sun started to set.. I told my husband I didn't love the color and it looked nothing like the swatch. Thought maybe once it dried, it would look better. The next morning, once the paint was dried and the sun was up we realized something wasn't right. Only now just realized that THE GUY GAVE US THE WRONG COLOR. We asked for High Park and were given Liberty Park. I guess maybe it's partially our fault for just trusting him and not double checking? But it's not like he asked us if it was the right color when he gave it to us (like they usually do at Lowe's).Livid is an understatement. I'm crushed as I have back issues and this was not an easy task for us. I'm updating this review to 4 stars because Tyler was nice enough to offer us a new can of paint in the correct color. He was very nice and although I'm extremely disappointed, he was super helpful and I'm VERY thankful! I'm glad he was there today, as he was very apologetic.(The color around the plug is the color we wanted, the pea green color is what we were given initially)”

It's a warm environment for a hardware store, and as a woman taking on a massive amount of home renovations, I've never felt dumb or small when asking for help here.”
