Pet Care
Gardner Animal Care Center
73 Eaton Street, GardnerWe recently took on an emergency foster cat, and we quickly discovered he had some concerning health issues. We were able to get him in to be seen quickly, and Dr. Oatis was exceptionally thorough, patient and compassionate of the unique needs given that this sweet kitty in our care was not our pet. She never treated him as anything other than a loved family member, but was very conscientious of the cost-sensitivity associated with a rescue and foster situation.
She followed up during every diagnostic step, went above and beyond in reaching out to colleagues, and was exceptionally caring and invested in his wellness and future. When we found a forever/fospice home for him, she offered to contact his new veterinarian to ensure the best In continuity of care for him!
In addition to the wonderful experience we had with Dr. Oatis, we had pleasant and very helpful interactions with Genesis, all of the other vet technicians and nurses, and every single person who helped us at the front desk. I feel like I had to call every day for a new question I had or request, and they were all kind and responsive. My mom brings her own cat here as well, and she too, has had nothing but positive visits and assistance.

Tender Heart Vet Care PC
7 Pearson Boulevard, GardnerOur usual vet (another in Gardner) was too busy yesterday when our pup started showing signs of an ear infection. Tender Heart was able to get him in and out quickly, and only $130-ish dollars later we now have meds on the way from a compounding pharmacy that the office is going to help us put in his ears.
My dog is large and very iffy at the vet, so he usually gets muzzled in these situations which I’ve never had an issue with - but Dr. Wood was so kind and made sure to give him extra love before handling him, and they ended up not needing to muzzle him which made me SO happy. We’re thinking it might be time to switch to using Tender Heart as our regular vet now :)

130 Parker St, GardnerWhen it comes to Chinese food this is probably one of my favorite places. I love the food and the portions are very generous. Not bad price wise either. The service has always been very good as well.
