“I haven’t been back to the gym since Covid, so I was nervous to get started up again. I explained my situation to the people at the front desk and right away, they showed me how to use the machines and welcomed me back. It felt great to get back into working out again! The gym is so clean and everything looks new. I truly appreciate how welcoming and helpful everyone has been at Planet Fitness! Thank you!”

Although Dawn centers her practice around women-only fitness, she has taken me on as a 1on1 client, working with me to better my overall wellness (helped with fitness, form, motivation, and nutrition) and she’s always down to collab with me and my small local business to better our community! 11/10. “I was working out at the Newburyport Planet Fitness on a Friday night and finished my run on the treadmill about 10–15 minutes before closing. My AirPod fell out, landed on the treadmill, and flew somewhere out of sight. I searched for about 10 minutes, and by then the gym was closing.
Instead of rushing me out at 9:00, George and Amy stayed and helped me look until my AirPod was found. They were incredibly kind and truly put effort into helping me. It’s staff like this that can turn a stressful moment into a positive one and really make someone’s day. I truly appreciated them and will be coming back here more often!”

“I have been going to Mike Boyle and seeing Coach Nico for many years. My kids started going with their sports teams and I got tired of watching and waiting so started working out myself. It was the best decision and kept me in shape! More recently, I have gone through breast cancer and had a Double Mastectomy. The workouts got me ready for surgery and helped me recover. It was a place that gave me so much support and encouragement! I believe it is so important to get ready for any surgery for a faster recovery but the staff is so supportive, like family, that the emotional support goes a long way as well! Thank you Nico and the whole Mile Boyle family!”

“I love going to this YMCA! It is a gorgeous new facility with a wide variety of equipment and an inclusive atmosphere. There is no pressure to be a bodybuilder, and no shame if you're not in shape - the focus is entirely on health and feeling comfortable there. They really make it a place for everyone, from athletes to families with children to retirees. The pool is kept in excellent shape (very clean), and there's almost always a bike or treadmill available. I have found the staff to be professional and friendly. The Good Day Café has been a great addition in the past year. This YMCA seems to have a close connection to the community, and they are always running events to support local organizations and provide chances for social interaction. Overall, I am satisfied and plan to keep my membership!”

“Great facility. Friendly, knowledgeable coaches. Lots of class types and times to choose from. Exceeding 12 Splat points each class is a huge motivator and metric to validate my workout effort level during the class and the length of my metabolic after burn. Knowing that I actually HAVE an after burn relieves the guilt I get when mom and work limit my exercise time.”

“Sandy Ziemski- I trialed F45 Salisbury for 1 week. I felt very comfortable and the gym was clean and the excercises were on point. Bree was a great instructor. She was very welcoming and made sure form was good. She also suggested alternative excercises due to my hip replacement. 5 stars”

The coaches are great and the gym atmosphere is fun and encouraging! Tons of weights and equipment to use in the programmed workouts.
