We went here on the 4th, and we were stopped at the entry by an employee who asked how he could help us. Then, while we were picking the items we needed, a second employee approached and helped us find a better item for our needs. Outstanding customer service!

Want to share a special thanks to Bill who helped put 9 bags of bark mulch in my car yesterday, such a huge help and appreciated! This is the kind of service you will not find at the larger chains.

Terrible customer service over the phone, couldn't be bothered to help with a tool being warrantied. Telling me because they don't stock it, so they can't warranty it. Funnily enough, Middleton Ace Hardware had no problem doing so even tho they didn't stock the tool either. I'll drive the extra miles to Lowes in Danvers from now on..

Freezing cold, ran to Ace hardware in Gloucester. When I returned to my car and tried to start my car I knew something was terribly wrong. I popped the hood to discover my radiator hose had come away from the radiator! Thinking maybe I could fix it temporarily with a metal type tape I searched for the tape I needed. Richard, an associate at Ace asked me if I needed help. When I told him what happened he went out back and returned with his sweatshirt on and offered to go outside and help! He told me that tape would not be a good option. He clamped the hose back on for me. When I tried to slip him some money he told me to pay it forward and help someone who needs help. God bless you Richard! You saved me on one of the coldest nights ever.

They usually have what you need. Obviously it's overpriced, but it's local and sometimes it beats driving all the way to Danvers.

Welp, its an ACE. What more can I say lol. A lot of the stuff is MUCH cheaper on Amazon, but you pay for the convenience of not waiting for shipping. Friendly staff, very well stocked.
