I dropped off our Suzuki 2.5hp we purchased Dec of 2022 with two issues. One was it wasn't getting compression because of stuck valve and two the carburetor was leaking fuel and was gummed up. The repair was done within a normal amount of time so I gave them an extra star from the one star I'd like to give them.First problem when I picked up the motor nothing was covered under warranty for the sticking valve. They stated the motor had good compression, which I already knew that. The valve doesn't stick all the time. When i booked the repair I explained that, but that information didn't make it to the mechanic and they didn't do anything more than a compression test. The carburetor they charged me $120 for the carb which is about market price, but they charged me 2.5 hours of labor for a total bill of $400 to swap out the carburetor. She ran well for about 4 weeks then started having idling problems, took the carb off and cleaned it, which took me about 45 minutes, but it didn't help the idle problem.Lastly I asked the service manager what will you do if the valve start sticking again and he said we'll like swap out the entire power head, which is they did that on this repair I would have gotten a new carb anyways. The valve started acting up again about 6 weeks after it was in the shop and I haven't done anything more with the engine. My feeling is they should have followed my initial request to look at the valve problem when I first brought it in. Second, they way over charge for work.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Saw the boat advertised. Met some captains aboard their respective boats. And they were very professional.

The staff has always been there for me, and are more responsive and detail-oriented than any marina I have experienced. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants to spend more time out on the water and less time on land waiting for your boat to be fixed.

This company Cape Ann Marina is terrible. All greed. All employees aee afraid of the owners who run the place like greedy royalty. Look at rest of the posts here. I have run into how horribly run the service and repair department is. They will lie to you. Paid for my service in winter. Did not get my boat with new motor until June. I had done some of the new wiring as it was taking so long. The terrible service manager said to me "dont be surprised if the owner rips out everything you just did." Thats the type of service. This place is terrible. You have been warned.

We just stayed 5 nights at Cape Ann.Was very nice and their staff is very friendly. It is located close enough that you can go into Maine during the day and drive back here to stay. The price was right for what we were looking for.If you love staying next to the water and don't mind bands playing on the weekend then this seems to be the place where everyone comes to.Will stay again if we get back this way.
