We stayed here in November. We have family near by. The staff was very friendly. The weather was typical NE and the room was nice and cozy. We would absolutely stay again! Plus we were able to find out where the locals eat and a lady shared about the Wicked Tuna!

I’ve used these guys parts department many times and they’ve been endlessly helpful. I’ve also reached out to them for help in trapping a missing dog that was hiding on their property, they could not have been more helpful and accommodating. Thanks in part to their kindness, a little boy gets to know his dog is home safe for Christmas.

My girlfriend (now my fiancée) and I went on a trip to Salem MA this year for Halloween. The hotel prices in Salem were outrageous! We looked online at hotels outside of Salem for better prices and came across The Hotel at Cape Ann Marina. It looked perfect for what we needed. We were very happy with our decision to stay there. The room itself was nice and clean and had a good smell and the bed was comfortable. The dining area where we had our complimentary continental breakfast was very nice and clean with a beautiful view. All of the staff that we encountered were extremely friendly and helpful. This place truly is a gem and i’m really glad that we found it! The next time we go to Salem we will definitely look into staying at The Hotel at Cape Ann Marina again!

Great place. I was given a newly renovated room. It was just a little weird with red and yellow furniture (not very comfortable to sit in) and a window exposing the shower. Not for me although I do like ketchup and mustard. All amenities were closed during my stay.

Bedding was all so comfy. Great views. Last minute free fresh delish ala cart breaking since the kitchen was reserved for a meeting.

The room was shabby. The rug filthy. Needs upgrades. The balconies are all connected, and the back lock is very unsecure.

Accolades go to the staff at The Hotel at Cape Ann Marina! I booked a room for my sister and myself for what used to be an annual October birthday tradition. When booking, I requested an ADA accessible room. When we arrived, I realized quickly, that this room would not work for my now disabled sister. I immediately called the desk and Tony, one of the managers, explained that although I requested the accessible room, the attendant did not book the room as such. Tony did everything he could to accommodate us. He did manage to get a first floor room, but the bathroom/tub was not going to work for her. Kindness, compassion and creativity from the staff sprung into action! WOW!! Somehow, these lovely folks managed to acquire a shower chair so my sister could safely get in and out of the tub, generously outfitted us with towels and bath mats to keep the room safe and dry. And, went above and beyond by kindly supplying a plethora of breakfast goodies for me to take back to the room, so she wouldn't have to get up so early to get ready for breakfast. As if that were not enough, the T.V. remote did not match our television (sleep timer was a much needed amenity) and Frily (pronounced "Freely") was an amazing IT guy, obtaining a remote for our television and in minutes, we had it paired and in our hands! So, no, this isn't the newest hotel in the area, but we also are not being charged 2023 "new hotel" prices. What you can't pay for, because there isn't a price to put on it, is the kindness, compassion, genuinely loving and helpful care that these folks didn't hesitate to generously share. You will be hard pressed to find that at any priced hotel! I do hope my sister and I will get to do another birthday trip again and won't hesitate to book at the Hotel at Cape Ann Marina. Thank you to everyone who made this trip a relaxing and memorable visit. We felt the love ❤

This is the place to stay if you are in Glouster! Room was clean with an amazing view! The staff is so friendly and helpful. The breakfast is above and beyond our expectations...and the blueberry lemon bread is to die for! We will definitely stay here every time we visit!

RUN.The reviews on line are misleading. We arrived and the front desk could not get my visa to work, had to be taken behind the desk and “key’d” manually. It has a funny smell and the maintenance room beside our room looked as if it should be condemned. We get to the room and it’s disgusting. Tubs enamel is peeling off, the door handle twists as if it’s been jimmy’d open and the tv barely works. As quickly as we checked in, we checked out. This is not a nice cozy boutique hotel, it’s comparable to the bated motel.

Overall, the resort is was a fun place to stay for a couple of days - rooms were cute and cheeky, but wasn't crazy about the full length glass shower, which is fully exposed to the rest of the room. Privacy curtain should have been on the inside of the shower window rather on the the room side. Kind of creepy. The marina restaurant and bar were relaxing, and service was very good. However, on our last night we had the house salad with chicken for dinner, and both my husband and I were sick with significant intestinal problems hours later.

The hotel is extremely outdated, the interiors from 70s. AC didn’t work properly, everything in the room was dump. Avoid.

We had a great stay, the room was very clean. We did have an issue with the bathroom, however it was taken care of immediately. Don, the manager called us to apologize and took great care of us. What he did not know was that it was our 28th wedding anniversary. We truly appreciate how they took care of us with out knowing or trying to impress us. Thank you Don, we will definitely be coming back soon.

A little disappointed , when we made reservations I was told they had a restaurant and bar, but when we arrived we were told they are closed MT open W afternoon! So we still had to travel to get food and drinks! Didn't appreciate that after traveling 5 hrs to get there to have to get back in the car!
