“Did the 6 week challenge offered by coach Kara and even with a crazy work schedule was able to meet and exceed my goal weight. The coaches are all great, the atmosphere is inviting, all in all would recommend!”

“I started at the gym by doing the 6 week challenge and it was the best jump start ever! I have learned so much and have felt supported by every coach at the gym! My favorite part of cross fit is the community aspect. Whether it be people cheering you on to finish a tough workout or by working together on Saturday mornings it is always a good time with good people! Highly recommend!”

“Summary: Great for beginners, physique training, and the general fitness crowd. This is not a gym for strength sports. This gym is in a small space, so it is a little crowded. For most folks, I'd say it's well-outfitted: It's about 50/50 cardio and weight machines--there's one cage rack and a smith machine, as well as about 4-6 static bench variations (flat, fixed incline, etc.), as well as a bunch of cable machines. There is not a deadlifting platform--there is a heavy foam/rubber mat on the ground, but not a true platform. There's an upstairs barre/studio space with TRX, tumbling mats, a heavy bag, and a speed bag with some community gloves. The facility was clean, well-lit, and all of the equipment looks to be either new or well-maintained. The staff that took me on the tour was friendly, helpful, and knew almost everyone coming through the door. All of the above are great reasons to go to this gym.I am a powerlifter looking for a gym closer to my home, here's why it doesn't work for me (for context, I have a background in training for weightlifting, powerlifting, and strength+conditioning):(1) the barbell equipment is limited. There is only one cage rack, with a limited selection of weight(2) the deadlifting pad is not an adequate replacement for a platform; additionally staff told me there is a rule against "slamming weights" in this facilitiy--to their benefit, they did qualify that some weights are too heavy to gently put down, and that the expectation was for members to control the eccentric of all weighted movements. Just exercise caution with this one if you're lifting heavy.(3) this gym prohibits video recording/facetiming of any kind on the training floor. This is pretty reasonable, and I don't think this is an issue for 98% for gym goers--for the 2% that have a coach who wants training footage, this just isn't a good fit.”
