This place is very interesting. There are some very particular sculptures, created by the man who lives there, that are definitely worth taking a look at. Also the landscape is very nice, especially during fall. I really enjoyed spending half an hour or so there. 4 stars only because $20 a person seems a little overpriced for the admission.

Has a very cool trippy vibe I think 20 bucks a head is a bit on the high side but art ain't cheap....

Beautifully unique, magical and quirky. Always evolving and worth a stop and the suggested fee. Give yourself time to wander, explore and delight in all the small surprises hidden throughout the property. I attended a performance a few years ago-best one person show ever! If you attend a performance, do bring your own comfortable cushion or chair. Rock benches can be tough.

This place is the very epitome of good vibes - there is just a good feeling all around. The art is unique and quirky and perfectly set in nature. The water is beautiful and the greenery is beautiful. The land is clean and well cared for. It's definitely worth checking out on a nice day! There was no wait when we went on a Saturday morning, and visits are self guided.

This is not your regular cookie cutter art place. It can be appreciated by everyone, from art lovers to handymen. The amount of work that has gone into curating and building this "outdoor art enclave" is abs astounding, a life time's worth of toil quite literally. After we talked to the owner we got the feeling that the $20 entry fee per adult is more of a suggestion, not an absolute requirement for entry. There is a turnstile by the "proper" entrance where you can self pay and go in and pretty much pay what you want there by dropping cash or check or any valuables you want to part with into an unattended box there. The turnstile turns freely.Once inside though, esp on a nice day, you will BE amazed AND inspired by what this family has done with this place. Guaranteed to give you some take away ideas as to what you can do in any back yard or open outdoor space, very neat.As for me, i'd much rather donate my bucks here than pay $20 or $27 to the art museums in the big city of Boston (like the IsStGardner or the MFA), i deffn got a LOT more out of it here and a lot of ideas as a DIY'er !!HIGHLY reccm! esp on a nice day!Bring a lunch or a coffee and walk around as you get inspired !(I am not related nor do i know any of the staff here, i just appreciated all their hard work)

I'm so grateful I found the Sanctuary on the map! I took my twin toddlers there to reset after a long, intense semester. It was lovely. We all felt the energy. While one of the twins drifted into another section, the other quietly stated, "this is my home." She didn't want to leave the "ocean lady." They had a connection. In a different section, my drifter continually raised her arms and exclaimed "This is my home!" Neither declared something like that before. I was taken aback for a moment. Based on how quiet babe one was about it, babe two couldn't have heard her say it--especially while wondering.I sat down and watched them do their thing.I felt grounded, relief and peace. It was needed. We will be back.

I don’t know what I expected but this was more unexpected (in the best way) than whatever I imagined. Such a peaceful garden, amazing location for just beautiful nature, and the art was just unique and cool. I stayed longer than planned and it felt right. Visit! And donate! So worth it.

A strange and wonderful place. Bring a snack and sit down. I didn't, cause I didn't have time. It would be overwhelming if you could see it all at once, but no you can't. It meanders and reveals itself like a dancer.

This sacred spot continues to help me rejuvenate, recharge and appreciate so many things often not thought during the chaos of daily life. You can’t help but feel calm here and the peaceful feeling that engulfs me each and every time I visit is so special. There’s a magical energy about the three sisters sanctuary that I’ve yet to find anywhere else. The sculptures are amazing and there is always something new to discover. The mementos and trinkets left behind by past visitors radiate a loving energy that you can truly feel as you walk along the many paths and walkways and enhance a feeling of gratitude and well being. The owner, Richard is amazingly kind and will make you want to visit again and again. You can’t beat the price and you will never forget the experience. Highly recommended!

Pulling up to this Sanctuary and walking through it, are two entirely different things. Once you enter, you feel, see and touch and experience something pretty great. I read it started from grief but became something much different. You have to visit to know what I'm talking about. People leave things (from passed loved ones) pieces of themselves. My daughter and I stacked stones together there, left a little of us behind ❤️. It's funky, cool and peaceful. It's FREE!! I'd leave a donation though, enjoy!

I drove by the giant Tin Man a few years ago and this place has been on my bucket list ever since! OMG it was 100% worth the wait…as soon as you ring the bell it’s like your in a beautiful dream, it is so peaceful :) and the energy there is so healing and wonderful. I had an opportunity to meet the owner & artist Richard M. Richardson and he was the sweetest man and you could feel how passionate he was about what he created. He stated that he created this sanctuary for people to come and heal, he definitely helped this girl…thank you for this wonderful place Richard I will see you again soon!

This is a beautiful and peaceful place to spend time surrounded by nature and beautiful gardens. There is so much detail to appreciate in both the stone work, the artwork and the gardens with water features. We also enjoyed calming flute music as we wandered the grounds finding things of interest all around. I especially enjoyed walking the stone labyrinth. It is situated beside the surrounding natural wetlands so there is a feeling of the beautiful stonework and gardens right amid and connected to the quiet natural landscape. I'm sure we will make another trip!

Such a hidden treasure. You can’t help but let your imagination run wild in this place. You start to read about the exhibits and then you start to see and think fantastic things about them. I was lucky and saw and met the main artist as he sat on the back deck of a storybook painted home on the property!

AMAZING PLACE!!! My wife took me there by surprising me and peaceful doesn't even explain how truly amazing this place was. If you have ADHD like me going there is gonna make you go a little crazy having to look at everything.Looking at one thing then seeing this having to check that out. There was a lady there placing a guitar and singing while people walked around and the owner was talking to everybody asking how there day was.
