Went to pay my bill today and was pleasantly surprised by another storage rate increase of $31 a month. When I got my unit originally it was roughly 130 which seemed fair. Now after making the payment online it's a hair over 180! And for what? I wasn't even informed of the rate hike until I saw it. Be cautious about renting a storage unit here and check prices of other storage units in the area.

I had my things in storage for about 6 years and I recently emptied it out. Most of the clothes I had were ruined with dirt etc. The whole floor was covered in mouse droppings. The woman who works there said I should have been there more often. Some great service while paying over $200 per month.

Started off as what seemed like reasonable prices...yearly increases for the unit I had was one of the smallest $168 month . Been there over 3 yrs .

Climate controlled units are NOT climate controlled at CubeSmart!!!Lost lots of stuff that meant a lot to us because moisture was so bad, one day we walked into an inch of water. Had to buy DampRid for the unit and change it weekly. Another expense!!!

Great location and best prices in comparison to other local competitors, especially the further east you travel. The space itself is clean and rarely more than another 2-3 folks in there at the same time. Savannah the manager is great, energetic, and knowledgable. I had a question on closing out and she left me a detailed voicemail explaining the process and what my options were since I would be running close to the month end. She was awesome at setup too and acted as if she was personally responsible for wellbeing as a customer, exemplary service! Also, I dropped two mouse traps in the unit as a 'just in case' and (thankfully) did not catch one mouse in the 10 months I was a customer. Highly recommend for all facets of the process. Anything involving moving can be stressful, appreciative that Savannah and CubSmart helped completely remove one stressful element. Thank you!

This place is horrible. They've raised prices every year, then twice this year. They told me they'd give me 24 hr access like I had with the previous owner but lied. They snow plow leaving snow 3 ft high, 4 ft deep in front of my cube. Said it was a liability issue to get closer. They expect a 66 year old disabled guy to clear the rest? Avoid them or regret your choice!

Began rental of parking space for an RV in Nov of 2021. Parking was tight but acceptable. Half of spaces are up on sight incline, but not mine. Would go and check on/start the RV on a rough monthly basis.Went to uncover RV in March of 2021 and discovered there was a fist sized dent put into one of the storage hatch doors in our rig.When I first arrived there was a man removing items from a mobile home that was parked to the side of my rig in the middle of the aisle. There was broken glass and wood shards on the ground from this unit. By the time I discovered this damage the man had left, but left the ground surrounding his unit a mess, complete with kitchen chairs, refrigerator and construction debris outside next to his unit.I took photos documenting everything, my damage, his distance to my unit, etc. E-mailed management with all the details expecting it to all be worked out. It was inconvenient, but it was a simple hundred, two hundred dollar door to be replaced so I wasn't too worried about it being taken care of.I was told by on-site management that the district manager would be contacted about it and shortly thereafter was informed by phone that I needed to file a claim through my own personal insurance. Knowing the filing a hit and run claim would be useless, I asked if I could see/have the security footage for my insurance claim. I was told that on-site management would look over footage (as they were not allowed to share it with tenants) and if they could determine who did it, they would contact that person, but that that person was under no obligation to contact me and accept responsibility.So basically I'm out of luck, no cameras, no evident guilty party, and management would not accept responsibility for letting this guy park his giant destination trailer, not RV, boat, car, but a full-on mobile home in the road next to my rig.Then 2 months later they raised my rent. While I can understand the inability to provide complete protection from vandalism/damage/theft but if you have security cameras, then why aren't they used to solve crimes inside the facility? Why am I paying for fences and security cameras if they're not used to help protect my vehicle and/or hold the person(s) responsible for damaging it?I left this month as it took me some time to find new arrangements.Edit: CubeSmart, you have my name, the location I reviewed. It should take a CSR no more than five minutes to track down who I am in the system and the email I sent to site management. Don’t act like you want to help with a generic reply. You have my information, you can reach out to me if you wanted to solve this.
