My stepdaughter has sensory issues, and the folks at Sugarplums did a wonderful job helping me pick out some dance wear for her. They know what was best to steer away from and what to focus on. It was a wonderful experience!

I want to give Sugarplums and specifically Bridget a massive shout out. My daughter had a dance recital and we realized we bought the wrong color jazz shoes! Amazon wouldn't deliver before the time of the recital and all stores were already closed. In a desperate attempt to get the right shoes I took to my town community Facebook page to see if anyone had them "laying around the house". Bridget and Sugarplums sold me a pair outside of operating hours bright and early.Moral of the story: support your local businesses. They are here to support your community. They are parents that can relate and empathize to the stress of recitals. You can't beat that. Thank you Bridget and Sugarplums!

Love this studio so much! Both my girls dance here. They are 2 and 5. The teachers are welcoming, kind and so supportive. My girls look forward to going to the studio every week!

Someone please explain I have called left messages and do not receive a return phone call and I do not see any cars outside. Is this place still open?

My child had an awful experience with this school. They kicked her out of a performance because she chose to attend her grandmothers funeral instead of practice. Would not recommend at all. Would like to add that the owner told my daughter "people missed birthday parties and bar mitzvahs for this" when she told her that her grandmother had passed away and that she was holding her hand while she died. The other absences were because she had mono. We set up a private lesson at owners request and when we took her there and dropped her off, instead of getting a private lesson she was taken into the store and sold a bunch of products alone without our permission and after thy had made their selections they called my mother at home for permission to use her credit card that they had on file. We did take her for the private lesson but this is what they chose instead. Also what she doesn't tell you is that she let my daughter dance in a performance and then at the event without her parents there was asked to leave the group, so my daughter was alone when this happened and by all accounts, performance went fine. Like I said, she was very ill and lost a family member, but was held in same regard as birthday parties or bar mitzvah. Happy to be free of this toxic situation we have since found a much more professional school that has a competition troupe.

My daughter attended classes at Dance it Up for two years and I couldn't ask for a better experience!! She is very shy and the staff went out of their way to help her to feel comfortable and draw her out of her shell. She received a solid dance education while having fun in an incredibly supportive and inclusive environment. The recitals are always well organized and truly give each dancer a time to shine. I would recommend Dance it Up to anyone looking for a dance studio for their child!

As the story goes, I just moved to Central Mass and have been looking for adult ballet or dance-inspired pilates classes. There are a real shortage of adult classes around Worcester. Anyway, I came here this morning for the Total Barre class and it was a very good workout! The teacher, Stephanie, explained things well and the pace of the class was good for beginners and for those with more muscle. I enjoyed that it combined aspects of ballet and pilates to make the class a challenging workout. I will be trying Stephanie's Pilates mat class on Wed morning! Also, the class's studio is large brightly light, with wall mirrors, sprung wood flooring and all the accessories you can imagine. The actual facility is decorated like a little feminine fairy-tale with lots of purples, pinks, stars, and tutus!

This is the best dance studio by far. We live all the way in Marlborough and on the way to this studio are at least 10 others but I would not choose any other! We have been going there for over 4 years and sadly due to my work schedule my children can't come anymore. The teachers are warm, supportive, knowledgeable and fun - all your kid can ask for! We will miss this place a lot!

I Do not have a child who goes here presently, but I just saw a performance by this dance company in the Grafton Commons. THe performance included ballet, acrobatics and ariel silks. It was simply amazing! Couldn't belive what some of these young girls and boy, could do!!! inspiring. Very graceful ballet as well.
