“They are pretty professional, including the front desk ladies and the mechanics. It's stunning to see a shop that has dedicatedly worked in this field for 50ish years!
The shop is lovely and everything is well organized. They are really helpful in contacting the Maffre insurance appraisal and total loss department.
The price for service is great, and the labor is detailed and clean.

From my first phone call to picking up my repaired car, was a very seamless experience. The staff here is incredibly nice and easy to work with. Aside from my initial contact with my insurance company, they took care of all communications with them for payment. I literally dropped my car off and picked it up with no hassle. The repair work was impeccable and I was told to contact them with any issues. It was so refreshing to work with a company that literally took care of everything! “Second time bringing my car here. It is a very busy shop, and for good reason. They go above and beyond, are very friendly, and I trust them to fix critical systems I missed. For example, I brought the car in because the manual clutch failed, no clutch at all. Also, the rear wheels squealed loudly, which they thought meant I had a bad rear wheel bearing. I also had almost no emergency brake left, even though I had replaced the rear brakes about six months ago. I doubt the car would have passed it's upcoming inspection if they didn't fix it while just doing what we agreed to. Awesome guys, highly recommended.”

I legitimately walked in there before and said I think that there's something wrong and they're like there's nothing wrong so they're not trying to get me to fix something when there's nothing wrong with my car. They are an honest, family-owned business.”

I was told by another local mechanic that I needed a ton of work done, but I had had some of the same work done recently and brought my car to Castro for a second opinion. They told me what I actually needed, charged me way less than I was quoted for the same work from multiple other places.
