Would never recommend this place my dog was fine a except for some digestive issues nothing wrong with her leg. They apparently were having trouble with her so used Anastasia to do x-rays and blood work. Well if she is bloating she is in pain so she is going to be a lil fiesty. I'm pretty sure they hurt my dog on purpose because now she has a very bad painful bubble on her elbow. I truly believe some of the staff there are very sadistic. I still have not been able to get my records that I've been requesting but sure can run up a bill and charge me twice for x-rays. The staff there clearly do not care about the Animals nor their jobs. I would never recommend this hospital and if I could give negative stars I would.

I had to put down my 19 yr old cat. It was a bit pricey, but the staff were kind patient understanding and explained everything to us. I would highly recommend them.

Very sweet and kind: I just lost my 12yo boxer and they were willing to take me in on the spot. Private room for last few moments. Very helpful at last minute notice. Cremation and everything else. Thank you Tufts from theAll Dogs K9 Training and family.

Sadly, I cannot recommend Tufts. Our kitty has been very sick and her condition began to deteriorate. We waited for eight hours total and asked a few times just to see our kitty briefly, even if just for a few minutes. They refused, despite that our kitty hadn't even been assigned a doctor yet. The veterinarian insisted on expensive blood work, despite the fact that our regular veterinarian had performed blood work the day before. We found that the veterinarian we interacted with was nonchalant and appeared not to care about our kitty. I was also alarmed by the state of the exam rooms. As you can see, there was fur and hay. The exam table appeared to have some dried body fluids. I understand that they're an emergency veterinarian clinic and there might not be a lot of time to clean between patients. However, according to the American Veterinary Medical Association, exam rooms should be cleaned between patients. We're worried that our already vulnerable kitty could become sicker as a result of our visit. I've heard so many positive things about Tufts. Sadly, after eight hours, we're now $2k in the hole and we didn't receive any help for our kitty.

My leopard gecko recently became very sick, and this was one of the only places in the state that took leopard geckos. The wait was over 5 hours for them to even see her, just for us to realized we won't be able to afford to fix her. Thankfully, the vet understood my financial situation, and allowed me to take her home with some antibiotics and possible medication that could help her. I'm not sure if I would recommend this vet for exotics, as my gecko is still very uncomfortable, and we aren't sure if she is going to get better. I would def recommend dogs and cats here though!

Tufts has been an unbelievable life saver for us! Despite COVID restrictions, every staff member we have met in person or over the phone had been nothing but kind, patient, and knowledgeable. They've helped us multiple times over the last year with our pup that (unfortunately) has been diagnosed with cancer. There is never a doubt I our mind of our pups wellbeing when we bring her to Tufts. Which is really important to animal owners! This is also a place that's willing to work with you if need be. We didn't have a lot of money to spare during an emergency and we got denied for credit but they managed to work with us to get our bill paid off in a way that didn't cripple us financially. Forever preaching about their work, professionalism, and kindness!

The team at Tufts saved my 11 year old dog's life. Yes, it was pricey but I am forever grateful my dog received excellent care and she healed wonderfully. She was brought to the ER after having gone through the trash. We got there late in the evening and after talking to the doctor she was on the books for an endoscopy at 1:30am. Unfortunately at this point all the garbage had turned into a ball in her lower GI and they didn't want to keep causing trauma to her esophagus. They had to open her up and thank goodness it went this route. They found a few a secrets my old girl was hiding away. Tufts called me probably 7 or 8 times during the night and into the wee hours of the morning as they kept finding stuff and continuously updated me and educated me on these concerns. Not only was the wad of trash removed but so was her spleen and a biopsy was taken of her liver. One problem that threw us for a loop was her gallbladder. It was decided during surgery that it would be monitored and taken out after she healed from this round of surgery. However, after the surgeon discussed the state the gallbladder was in with the care team it was prioritized to be taken out immediately. So my poor dog went through 2 emergency surgeries in under 12 hours and was in the ICU for 3 nights. I was understandably an absolute mess throughout this ordeal but the folks at Tufts were nothing but kind to me (including the accounting department!) Even though the cost added up quick, I wasn't blindsided by it as they informed me up front what each surgery and her additional care would cost (thankful for CareCredit). They updated me when they said they would and didn't do a thing to my dog before speaking to me first. They didn't rush me off the phone and answered any question I had and discussed at length everything she through. I am so thankful for how Tufts handled everything and above all saving my girl's life!

This is the worst money grubbing place...drove here to have opinion on my horse...unable to see.... they probably gonna need X-rays and other tests and steroid blocks wtf without seeing the horse??? That was the front desks diagnosis..They haven't even looked this horse!!!.ridiculous multi million dollar complex and they can't see a QH that I wanted a simple physical on......Get out your wallet because this is not what I thought it was... I will never donate to this organization ever again! Or recommend...what a scam! These are the times..you'd better be real rich to own a horse...fancy facility...cranky staff...you'll be paying for it

After rushing my old man in for some emergency care, they were great. Even being short and busy, they took him in. Took good care of him and got him back to himself!

I have a cat with GI issues and turned to Tufts after a less-than stellar experience with another animal hospital. The internal medicine vet has been wonderful to both my cat and myself. My first visit was a telehealth appointment due to COVID and she spent a long time on the phone with me asking questions and going over my cat's medical situation. Different treatment options were offered and I never felt pressured to take the most expensive route. There is no doubt that veterinary care is costly, but I feel that my vet dollars are well-spent here. The communication has been excellent, with the vet herself making the calls and promptly returning my calls when I have further questions. I would definitely return to the Tufts clinic when specialized care is needed.

10 or 15 years ago this place was five stars. But in the last couple years they have gone downhill. And it breaks my heart to observe it. I don't want to embarrass anybody and name names but some of the behavior even with the doctors is ridiculous. Give me the old days of that place
