“I visited Dollar General today and found some really great deals! There was a clearance table right as you enter the store. “Well we did manage to get 40 items at $95 dollars or so between food and household items so that wasn't horrid pricing wise. Quality could be better for what you're paying for but this isn't like Dollar General. It's just a step down, for economical benefits (comparitive pricing)”

This place has a friendly staff, and even though they have to run around stocking and ringing people out, they stay surprisingly chipper.There is one specific employee that I feel deserves the spotlight, however, and that is Juan.Juan works during the day, and he is the most helpful and lovely person standing behind a counter in town! Even with a line, and people asking questions about where stuff is, and doing all the other stuff to keep the place afloat, he is so nice. Like, genuinely nice, not corporate "nice."The way he takes his time helping out the older population without patronizing them is refreshing. He has the touch of a social worker, the kindness of a drunken friar, and a million dollar smile.Juan is #1”
“This store has been closed for at least 6 to 8 weeks because of no AC and I guess they also closed in the winter for the same problem with the heat. We really need a dollar store open in this area so I hope they're not going to be closed for Good. Seems like they need to update the heating and air conditioning system so I don't know if they own the building or if they pay rent on it but they're losing a lot of money by being closed for so long which is a shame for both them and the customers who rely on them.”
“Finally, a Dollar Tree in Northampton! In the Walmart/Big Lots plaza, formerly a mattress store. I've been going to the Holyoke and Hadley stores for years. Dollar Trees have great deals on cleaning supplies, basic kitchen tools, craft supplies, gift bags, and fun seasonal decor. When I visited this store it was basically like any other location with the same items, but being new, it was well organized and not overly cluttered.”
“Store clerks were nice and friendly. They should be commended. Most Family Dollar stores have grouchy older ladies. The Family Dollar on Parker and Wilbraham Rd in Springfield is an awesome store!!!”

“Family dollar isn't as great as it used to be. My kid works part time in the Chicopee one.Some of the employees are lazy as shelves are empty. It's a bargain place mostly.Shoplifters love it there I've seen a lot of it.”

“I had been having a really bad day yesterday and I woke up today saying that it was gonna be a better day. Shall I mostly dawn down to the Family Dollar over here and me not having much money, II had to get my little kitten that I just got a couple days ago a litter box. Some food and I want to get a matoid. Well, I wasn't dollars, something short and the manager. I believe he was a manager just now. It happened. The kindness out of his heart, I told him i'd be back for the food because they didn't have a quick enough and you turned around and told me to go ahead and have a very good day, and just that alone made me feel like today was gonna be the best day ever cause someone actually. Was good to me. I've been having it so rough this past few days and everything's been going wrong and for me not to be a honey, even get my cat. A litter box and food cause I'm kind of hurting for money. I had fourteen dollars and this Gentlemen, kindly went ahead and made sure that I didn't go without capital. So he just really made my day, I just wanted to give AAA rating which was totally all 5 stars, and a review cause that man was very sweet and I believe I'm gonna have a better day today. Thank you family dollar for hiring such great employees”
“Great little store when you need a few things to pick up but I'll drive in a great distance it's convenient and usually has a little bit of everything I have to go there from time to time just to see what they have, and they have great prices and the people are very friendly”
