About River Walk
River Walk is an exceptionally short but picturesque trail along the river in Great Barrington. The northern part of the trail is a few feet lower than street level, with compact soil that gives it a natural feel, while the southern part is at street level and mostly paved. Both sections offer plaques and viewing points overlooking the river. Visitors can enjoy the soothing sound of the water and beautiful views as they stroll through this well-maintained and cared-for space, just steps away from the bustling Main Street. The trail also features historical significance, as it is located near the site of the first AC electric distribution station from 1886.

Beautiful little walk along the river! Cute trail with beautiful views. You can enjoy the waters sound while walking trough.

It was nice little walk along river after enjoying GB. Very peaceful, you can seat on stone bench and just relax.
