I purchased a very delicate gold cross necklace for my daughter for Christmas, 2022. She loves it! The clasp broke, and they replaced and fixed clasp perfectly. You can't beat the hometown personal service at Clearys.

After seeing the beautiful engagement ring that Cleary jewelers made, I knew we would be going back there for our wedding bands. Kerry thoughtfully worked through all options with us, and ultimately came up with a creative plan to alter two antique rings I had inherited from my grandmother into his and hers wedding bands. I couldn't be more impressed with the work - and now I'm able to enjoy these sentimental pieces every day!

I needed new batteries in two watches. Not a $10K ring, sure, but.... Called, left a message, got a call back pretty quickly. They asked could I come in Saturday between 9-12. Yes. Went there at the appointed time, and they said, oh, we sold out of watch batteries a couple of days before. OK... I mean, they had my name and phone number, they could have called me before I got there, but I didn't make a fuss. They said they were expecting more to be delivered that coming Thursday, but couldn't say for sure, it might be Friday. I said I was leaving town for a week that Saturday, so they said to come in Friday between 9-12. I called that Friday and got their message machine, so I identified myself, left my cell number, and said I was heading to them (50 minute round trip). Meanwhile, my wife called again from home and didn't reach anyone. I got there a bit after 11, and the place was dark and locked. There was a sign on the door that said if you're there for an appointment, ring the bell. There is no bell. Three cameras, but no bell that I could find. So I called again, said you told me to come in today at this time, I'm here, no one is in the store, please call me. It's now 8 PM, no call, no batteries, no working watch, no nothing. So, a week+ after I first called them, two unnecessary wasted trips, and I have nothing to show for it. Not happy. UPDATE: She called me the next day, apologized profusely, and compensated me for my trouble. Everyone makes a mistake at some point. The question then is how do you handle the clean-up. I am more than satisfied with how this problem was handled. One star for the problem, five stars for the resolution.

I made an appointment to get the setting on my ring repaired. I got there on time and knocked and waited and waited; no one came to the door. I called again and was told the owner was dealing with police over a burglar alarm issue that day. We rescheduled for June 6th. I left my ring with them and prepaid the service with my credit card. She said I'd have if for the weekend. I didn't so I called again. They returned my call during the week of the 13th and said they were "going to pick it up on Thursday and they would call me to schedule a pickup." Today is the 29th and I have no ring. I have called at least twice and now the phone is out of service (?!?) I have contacted the DAs office, Consumer division. I want my ring back! Addition: About 1 hour after posting this I got a call to come in get my ring. It looks good. Clean and well-repaired. Just wish it hadn't been so hard and so long to get it back. And the phone number is said to be working again. Odd but satisfied to have it back. Oh, and I am not in San Francisco. I am in Greenfield MA, like the store.

I can't say enough good things about my experience at Cleary. My Fiance had my ring made here but I ended up needing to get it resized. I was super nervous about it considering it is by far the nicest piece of jewelry I've ever owned. Kerry was so helpful and understanding and made sure that I had my ring back in just over a week, including meeting me last minute to deliver it personally. I also had a pair of diamond earrings that needed to be majorly repaired. Those took about a month, and I'm very happy with the results. All throughout the process Kerry was highly communicative and super friendly. I'm thrilled with my ring and earrings, and will definitely be back in the future.

For my wedding band I wanted something more custom made and never been to a jeweler I was nervous about the whole process! The whole process was smooth and Carrie was AMAZING! I was able to take my grandmothers old engagement ring and custom fit it to my engagement ring to form a band and then reused the stone in a custom made necklace. My husband was having his grandfathers ring resized and it was smooth and everyone took the time to make sure the fit was perfect and cleaned up. It did take some time till I got the rings back but the results were amazing! I highly recommend Clearies for any jeweler needs of cleanings, custom made products or off the shelf. The customer services was PHENOMENAL!

Absolutely the BEST experience I’ve ever had at a jeweler.I had been dreaming of a ring with a vintage style-I knew what I wanted but never seemed to find quite the “right “ piece. Kerry took all the time I needed to help me create a custom ring reflecting my style and personality. She listened and made awesome suggestions while we designed my beautiful ring.The turnaround time-during Covid no less-was quite reasonable, especially considering the custom work.I receive many many compliments on my ring and cannot be happier with the kindness and consideration Kerry showed me during the entire process.Thanks Kerry! I dealt with Kerry and she was easily the kindest, most helpful jeweler I have ever had the pleasure of interacting with. I had a bit of a jewelry debacle that needed to be resolved before Valentine's Day, and Kerry was available immediately and very happy to help me. She completely took care of my problem and I learned a bit in the process - always a nice addition! Sometime in the coming months I will be purchasing an engagement ring, and based on my extremely pleasant interactions so far I am definitely going to be bringing my business here!

Clearly Jewelers were open by appointment only during the pandemic, but I was able to write an e-mail and get a response within 15 minutes. The promptness of the response was certainly appreciated, but it was only the tip of the iceberg in terms of the service I was provided. I came to them with a problem with a piece of jewelry that I didn't even purchase at their store, and Kerry was kind enough to help me fix my issue and teach me a whole lot in the process. I was not even a paying customer during our interactions, but I felt like I was treated just as well as if I was buying a $15,000 engagement ring. I am extremely grateful for businesses like this that truly still value customer service, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a local, knowledgeable and friendly jeweler. I am going to be on the market soon for an engagement ring and I certainly plan to bring my business here and hopefully have a chance to work with Kerry again.

Hands down one of the best experiences I have ever had with a jeweler. Kerry helped me pick out a perfect engagement ring last summer when things were normal in the world but the true test came this summer when we needed the matching wedding band for our wedding this fall. Kerry bent over backwards to promise me that we would have our ring in time for our ceremony despite the pandemic. She consistently contacted me by phone to keep me updated on what she was doing to work her magic. She dealt with my nervousness very confidently and was up front and honest about everything. She came through for us and took an enormous stress off our backs while trying to make the best of a day that has been nothing less than caotic due to COVID. She did all this with the biggest smile and top notch professionalism. I'll be back for all my jewelry needs and highly recommend Cleary's to everybody!!!

I left a ring on 12/10 to get a diamond replaced. They called 3 days after and I got the estimate. I agreed and hope to get the ring by Chtistmas. I just got the ring back today- guess what they didn't fix it!!! I am so frustrated!!!
