The other reviews are correct, this is no longer a regular motel for people to stay at, it is being run as a homeless shelter for all the illegal migrants who entered America illegal because of the open Southern border.Right from the Greenfield newspaper itself in June 2023:"Greenfield Mayor Roxanne Wedegartner said families with children would be provided emergency shelter in Greenfield at the Colrain Road Days Inn motel. A total of 41 families with 64 children arrived in the city in early June, many of whom are Haitian immigrants coming from the Boston area. Many of the residents who have arrived aren’t from the Greenfield area, but rather new arrivals to the country or state, many originally hailing from Haiti, Chile, Argentina, and Brazil, among other locations".Days Inn should post something on their website, when people try to make a reservation to stay here, thinking it's still a motel, when in fact it's being run as a place to house illegals.

Stay away! I booked the hotel, then called about a week before my reservation to add another night only to be told that my reservation was canceled! No explanation at all. They tried to blame expedia.com, but based on the other reviews I have read, this seems to be a recurring theme. Do not go to this hotel!

This isn’t even a motel anymore, it’s some kind of homeless shelter. So don’t go here unless you want a bunch of people staring at you.

I was desperate for a room. I went to try get a room and the clerk said that all of the rooms were taken. Between all the noise, party, kids running and kids bikes trashing the place. What I did not know at that moment was this hotel is housing all themigrants - as mass has a right to shelter law. Go to brattleboro vt or amherst area for near by places. I took my car and parked in the mcdonald's parking and fell a sleep.

We booked with them in January for a wedding In October. 16 people 5 rooms. We all got a cancellation email from them, saying our reservation was cancelled. No explanation, no phone. We tried calling the hotel, no one answered the phones. You can get a hold of their operators and they said they dont know why it was canceled and they cant get a hold of the hotel as well. Come to find out the town is housing 150 illegal immigrants at that hotel!!! Shame on the company for pushing out their paid customers! Leaving us to find another hotel at the peak wedding season!!! Still cant find any other hotels in the area. Goodluck trying to get a hold of someone at corporate. Impossible to talk to someone!!!

We were planning on leaving Saturday August 5th with a group of friends to go to Deerfield magic wings Historic Deerfield and Sugarbush Mountain. I had booked a room at Days Inn and Suites of Wyndham. 2 days ago they sent me a confirmation confirming the room. Tonight I find out that there are no rooms available. They are hosting 150 refugees. Luckily a friend of mine saw the article and we were able to reserve another room at another hotel. This was such poor business. They should have notified people who had prior reservations. I will never use Days Inn again.

Complete shit show. We arrived and were told our reservation was cancelled, and as mentioned in another review here, it is because they are housing immigrants. I have no issue with that, except we should have been told sooner than check in about this. We were sent over to Red Roof inn in Deerfield, which was slightly better, but rooms there are cheaper than what we paid for this shit hole. Not cool. And I assume the owner owns both places, and is making bank by us paying the higher rate, and getting tax-free money from the state for housing the refugees! Talk about corruption!!Stay away from here!

Some sort of scam is going on here. Wyndham is taking state funds but still taking private reservation money on top. We booked 4 rooms months prior to a family wedding in the area and when we arrived we learned through locals and published articles that this hotel was turned into an emergency shelter as verified by an article found online and by speaking with local residents. This was done several months before our arrival date yet there was no communication to us about our upcoming stay. Our reservations were cancelled that day since there were no rooms available for us us and were immediately charged over $800 for the rooms within minutes. How can they charge for rooms they cannot rent out because they are taking state funding for these rooms? I spent a week making calls to ensure the charges were refunded and filed a complaint with Wyndham customer care and was told someone would reach out to me in 7 days. I received an email saying we were refunded and case closed. I asked to communicate with someone in customer care and was ignored. Complete lack of customer service and disregard for any inconvenience. Seems like they are trying to double dip and don't want to talk about it.

STAY AWAY. Coming in for a our First GreenRiver festival-The owner notified us 5 days before check in on 6/23 to let us know that for due for unforeseen circumstances our (all) reservation have been Canceled. For our convience he has given us other accommodations the are 100% complimentary, to make the inconvenience minimal. What he failed to say- the hotel he is willing to comp us is in WEST SPRINGFIELD MA - 45 MINUTE RIDE. The cancelation was for unforeseen circumstances -the unforeseen circumstances are not really unforseen they knew ...................................he agreed to give the whole hotel for the (illegal) referees. In fact he's agreed to house them until October. He has know about this, because he canceled wedding guest the weekend prior. Sleezy to keep it a secret and surprise all your guests. Be a man and stand up and let your guest know what going on! They are will to sent me 45 minutes away, and pay 100% when i ask for the same voucher amount, they are like nope- go away. We are willing to pay the $381 to stay at that hotel. I was told he owns 4 motel. The one he is will to pay for is the (RED ROOF - WEST SPRINGFIELD)- probably his thats why he will to take a hit. Has a hotel in Chicopee too, not sure where the 4th one is. I would figure out where all his motel are- He'll sell you out, with no notice. The owner should be ashamed of himself, doing something nice for people and screwing a bunch of people- does make you a good guy. Just make you a sleezy guy. BEWARE STAY AWAY FROM THE DAYS INN GREENFIELD AND ALL HOTELS OWNED BY THIS INDIVIDUAL.

I have to be honest here. The staff was great! The digs, not so much. We stayed here because of the proximity to a wedding we were attending in Bernardston. My wife wanted to book here because of the 'free breakfast', mentioned on the site. We ventured into town because the 'breakfast' consisted of a toaster, prepackaged cereal and yogurt. Our automatic A/C smelled of mold when it turned on during the night. Good, but not great Days Inn.. sorry but when we return to the area later this year, we will opt to stay somewhere else.Meh.Rooms: The bed was uncomfortable for both myself and my wife.Food & drinks: The 'free breakfast' left WAY more to be desired....

Nice location, good surroundings, pleasant accommodations, restful sleep, good staff, clean room, quiet. Our dog enjoyed walking on the adjacent dead-end road with a business selling various Tractors.

This place needs some serious renovations. I overheard couples arguing because of the conditions here... The Hampton Inn behind it looks nice.

Everything we needed for a short business trip. Close to restaurants, supermarkets, gas station. Staff us friendly. Only problem, when people went outside to smoke in the middle of the night they wee loud and disrupted sleep. Maybe the staff could encourage them to move further away.Rooms: Clean. Warm, the fan in the bathroom was not overly loud.Walkability: Not walkable. No sidewalks.
