Federal Street Books is a fantastic and amazing bookstore located in downtown Greenfield, MA. It offers a vast, diverse, and eclectic selection of thousands of mostly used and new books, including fiction, classics, children's, sci fi, fantasy, mystery, and many more categories. The store provides an incredible, five-star book shopping experience with ample space to browse. The staff and owners are very kind, helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable, often offering excellent and customized recommendations. The store is a great place to find unique gifts, books, and other lovely items like journals. It features a little area for kids in the back and offers special services like a date night after hours, curbside pickup, local delivery, US shipping, and a special order service. The owners also take care to be Covid-safe. For a wonderful time and perfect selections, it is an absolute must-visit and must-stop shop.
I always find something interesting here (sometimes too many interesting things)! The store and the folks who run it are lovely. As an immunocompromised person, I really appreciate their mandatory mask policy. Thank you for making an effort to keep us all safe and healthy!

LOVE this little bookstore in Greenfield, where there's always something interesting (used or new books), and the amusing non-book merchandise (cards, notebooks, art supplies, stickers, buttons...) are whimsical and hilarious. We are so appreciative of the mask policies, too!
