I just had the most terrible experience at Hens & Chicks. I bought clothing there for the first time and got home only to find out it had a large stain on the butt of the pants! I brought it back to return and the worker told me they have a no refund policy and pointed to a sign I didn't see when I checked out. I showed the worked the stain and said, don't you have a no stain policy? The worker said no, it's your responsibility to fully check over the item before purchasing. That sure would have been nice to know BEFORE I bought anything! I can't even donate these pants to the Salvation Army because THEY have a no stain policy. I will never shop here again. You can get higher quality items at free clothing closets. Save your money.

I love this store's selection, but I walked up to the door today on a Saturday at 5:15, and the door was locked with the light on... Update your hours or put a note on the door if you have to close before 6 please?

I love it here I shop for myself my two grandchildren
I got these drums from my 3-year-old granddaughter for Christmas last year $25.00 with all the original pieces drumsticks original stool every piece bolt everything was there when my granddaughter is finished with it I will bring it back there wanting nothing in return for someone else's grandchild to enjoy them ? ?

This place is excellent, if it wasn't for them I would never have been able to keep my toddler closed. Bring your kids old clothes in, as long as they are clean and in good condition they will sell them and put a percentage back on your account so that you can purchase new clothes for your ever-growing child. It's all name brand clothes, make American eagle, Hollister Gap etc the people who work there are extremely friendly and kind and know what your tastes are and often know when you're coming in before you do LOL I highly recommend it

Good for buying stuff but when I went I made an appointment in person, took hours of my time going though and washing all of my and my son's stuff and going out of my way because I don't live in town for them to tell me they need it folded in a box or laundry basket and that certain brands can't be accepted. They gave me a info sheet that they didn't give to me when I made the appointment. I was devastated because not only did I waste my time I wasted my son and my partners time as well. I was crying and the shop keeper didn't show any empathy and they had no more summer appointments available. I waited weeks for this appointment just to be turned down and left crying looking like a fool. When I asked to get the store owners n.mber she didn't give it to me. I am very hurt

Great local store for buying used babies, kids, teens, and maternity clothes. Has an excellent selection of women's shoes and handbags, too. Has a good selection of baby gear, such as cribs, pack and plays, baby chairs / bouncers. Has a section of kids shoes, too!Since it is a consignment store, things are a little bit more expensive than your regular thrift store --but in excellent condition. Most items are at minimum $3-5.For example, I found some cloth diapers for $5 (elsewhere they would have gone for $30 so it was a steal). A friend bought a Tula baby carrier for $20 (elsewhere it would have gone for $75-$100). I bought my teenager a pair of name brand jeans for $8, and my 10 year old a pair of shoes for $10.There are no carriages, but you can use a stroller while in this store relatively easy. Remember to bring change for parking. I found a spot out front pretty quickly, but there is also metered parking along nearby side streets.
