“While visiting in the Groton area, my almost 16 year young pup developed a UTI (urinary tract infection). It's not generally an emergency condition, but in a senior dog, it could progress quickly. I'd called several veterinary offices in the area, but none could see us for a few days because we weren't pre-registered clients.When I called Veterinary Health Care of Groton, they were willing to fit us in that afternoon. I can't say enough good things about all of the staff. I was concerned that my pup would be uncomfortable on the hard floor & suddenly, a fleece blanket appeared for her! Dr. Thomas & her staff handled my pup gently & were very attentive to me & respectful of my concerns. I believe we received wonderful service for the cost of the visit,especially for a last-minute appointment.I had explained that we were just visiting in the area, but we were treated like long-term, valued clients. If you need veterinary care in Groton, I'd definitely consider this office!”

“Dr Baran is very skilled and compassionate. Our very distrustful kitty was so calm and relaxed with him and allowed him to examine her with complete trust. He diagnosed her and treated her and her infection cleared up very quickly. I am eternally grateful. We thought we were going to lose her and we are so relieved.”

“Last night I had to bring my dog to AMC in Nashua . I was extremely impressed by this place ! The facility is very clean and well kept . I was greeted by a woman at the front deck that was very nice and helpful. She even gave me a cup of tea out of her own stuff to make me feel more comfortable. I was brought into a room where I meet the vet tech along with the doctor. They were kind, understanding.and easy to talk to . The doctor( Dr Mackenzie ) took a lot of time explaining things to me with a lot of compassion. I would ? percent recommend this place! Thank you for taking such good care of Bailey.”

“I cannot share enough positive things about Nashua Pet Care Clinic. I was skeptical upon my first visit, as NPCC is situated in a strip mall, next to a Subway and a nail salon. But I was quick to judge a book by its cover. Everyone in the office knows my dog. They ask about him with genuine interest. His acute and chronic needs are treated with urgency and thoughtfulness. His behavioral needs (he's reactive) are graciously accommodated. At most visits, the veterinarian and vet tech sit on the floor because he's more comfortable there than on the table. I've interacted with most, if not all, of the staff at NPCC and they're all equally warm, genuine, animal-loving people. And wonderfully, they don't talk about payment (unless we're discussing the cost-related tradeoffs of different treatment options) until it's time to check out. In fact, the last two visits have ended with my dog getting a surprise toy, just because.For more context:I've taken my dog to numerous veterinarians in the area, and all seemed to care about payment more than anything (they should care about payment as they're for-profit businesses, but I shouldn't feel this so overtly as a customer). I always felt like my dog was a commodity at these other vets. My 3 year old cat Violet had to have a full mouth extraction and they walked me through the entire process and kept in touch with me throughout the procedure and took great care of her. They really care about what they do and all of them were so kind. I highly recommend this place”

“I’ve been coming to this practice for about 3 years now, first with my cat then with my English bulldog. We’ve seen both Dr. Mockler and Dr. Roe and both were absolutely fantastic. My bulldog is a frequent flyer and they always take amazing care of her! They answered all my questions and were always super responsive to any of my concerns regarding my pets health. The front desk staff is super friendly, accommodating, and pleasant as well. We just moved out of the area and are so sad to leave this practice but I’d highly recommend them to anyone in the area!!!”

“Have to say, never saw neck pillows for pups of all sizes. Super awesome for them to use instead of cones. This place is classy with an amazing staff who really took time and patience with my two pups.Not going to lie, it is expensive but worth it for the treatment and location. “I am an actual client of Harvard Family Pet Clinic and have been for 2 years. I can say that the misinformation being posted about Dr. Koretsky couldn’t be farther from the truth, and that the people leaving negative comments have not ever been to this clinic, nor do they even live in the same state.I came on here to share my input as Dr. K is not only my veterinarian but she has become my friend in the 2 years that I have been her client, and it is hurtful to see people spreading lies about her and her business. Dr. Koretsky is an advocate for all animals, including service animals being used correctly. Since leaving my original review (below), I have adopted a second kitten and continue to go to Harvard Family Pet. In the years that I have known her, she has been nothing but a fantastic veterinarian, and I would not go anywhere else. The comments from my original review remain, and I also want to add that Dr. K takes the time on her days off to help me when I need assistance or have questions. I don’t know of anyone who has a veterinarian that they can contact on a day off and/or over the weekend, and get a fast response. I would give her 100/5 stars if I could!! She has done countless things outside of her normal business hours to ensure my pets are receiving the best care, and that is the type of person she actually is. I hope that anyone reading negative comments about the clinic will not let that deter them from choosing this clinic for their pets, and will listen to an actual client. My pets are literally my children and I would not trust anyone else with them. My cats are both healthy and thriving.My original review is below:I adopted my first kitten almost a year and a half ago, and chose this pet clinic because I was looking for a smaller practice. As a first-time cat mom, I had a million questions at the beginning, and still continue to have ongoing questions about the best way to care for my cat. He is my baby, and I always want to make sure I am doing the very best for him. Dr. K and Kayla have always been super helpful and patient with me. They always take the time to explain anything and everything to me, whether it is in-person, via email, or over the phone. I am experiencing a lot of things for the first time, so I like that they don't make me feel silly for asking questions, and are always available to make recommendations. I never feel rushed during appointments, as they take the necessary time to provide care and make sure any questions are explained. A few months back, I had an emergency with my cat and they were available to answer my questions after-hours, got me scheduled first thing the following morning, provided an emergency room referral, followed-up with the emergency vet, and handled my pet insurance claim (immediately). I am very happy with this pet clinic, and I feel that I would not get the same level of care at a larger facility. They are very prompt with getting back to me whenever needed, flexible with scheduling appointments, and have very fair prices. I trust them completely with the care for my baby, and I highly recommend this vet clinic!”

“I had to come back and leave a review because I was anxious about scheduling grooming services here for my dog due to the reviews but they were actually wonderful! I just moved and was having difficulty finding a local groomer with appointments available. Some were out 3 months! My 12 year old lab is spirited to say the least. She can also be skittish, especially around new people and blow dryers. The groomer, Lucas, was so friendly and made my dog feel welcomed and comfortable. I got a full report about how my dog did during her appointment. Lucas was on time and called for me to pick up my dog at about the 2.5 hour mark as promised. My dogs nails looked great and she smelled wonderful for the 10 minutes before she decided to roll in dirt outside! Will definitely be scheduling grooming services here again!”

“I like this Animal Hospital as I think Dr. John Bednarz is outstanding. However, I do not trust Dr. Shannon as she disputes his recommendations. I am still waiting for my Sentinel to be approved for Annie Reed and nothing yet. He ordered Credelio and she disputed it. The emergency vet area is good as long as good docs on duty. Get Dr. Williams back. Excellent too and very compassionate.”
