CRG claims to promote economic inclusivity through their “sliding pay scale,” but functionionally this is untrue. You must show up at opening time on one specific date EVERY month—and the worst part is that they keep this date a secret.Their staff are not informed by management as to which day it is, and there is no information on their website as to which date it is.Virtue signaling with little-to-no action to back up their claims. The staff are actually lovely though!! I have realized that this is 100% an issue with management/owners.

Such a great time. There are so many options for bouldering, top rope, and lead climbing. The staff were really cool. You do have to re-take belay certification after about a year. You also need to bring your own belay device (or rent for a small fee) and demonstrate that you know how to attach it (this comment is specifically to warn those who go to gyms where the device is pre-attached to ropes). Granted, this gym smells a lot more like feet than other gyms that I've been to. Overall, I had so much fun at CRG Hadley and will be returning if I am in the area!

CRG Hadley is obvi the best CRG out there! The staff is like so amazing in every way so you should 100% go there just to meet them! The gym smells like feet which totally = so good! The bouldering is so on point and so fun! Along with rad boulder problems, CRG Hadley also has a large variety of fantastical top rope and lead climbs. The CRG Hadley also has incredible youth teams kids and best climbers out there. The coaches are so great and this makes the climber kids so great to be around and everyone loves them! Everything in the gym is so lovely and safe and overall CRG Hadley is a MUST go too out of all of the CRGs out there!

Central rock hadley is by far the best. The smell of feet reminds me of home. The setting for bouldering, lead, and rope climbing is great, they always manage to set climbs that please everyone’s unique styles and abilities. If your struggling on the dynos don’t worry there just set to please the crazy college kids. The coaches along with the staff are kind and supportive. There very helpful if you have an questions and never disappoint. MOST of the people are nice (watch out for the stalkers). This place never reminds me of chucky cheese don’t listen to the other comments. There just jealous the kids send harder then them. If your not prepared to get CRUSHED by youth climbers watch out… (STAY AWAY FROM REC TEAM HENRY... also known as the WORST henry)

CRG Hadley is the BEST CRG out of all of them. The essences in the air are like shining dust and create happiness throughout the whole gym. The coaches and workers are all friendly and always do their tasks with such magical energy. And I know u may be thinking that every climbing gym feels like this.... but that isn't true. I have gone to many other gyms that lack the beauty and booming glow that CRG hadley has which i think is very important if u want to climb with true passion. CRG hadley is also rooted in the blooming fields of hadley, because of this the climbers at the gym get to admire wonderful and uplifting views and sunsets through the many windows that light up the gym. The setters are great, the staff are great, the coaches are great, the climbs are great, and most importantly... the sends are great, there is literally nothing at CRG hadley that isn't great. If you are feeling down and empty and need something to give you a glowing day, go to the CRG hadley because it never disappoints.

Great place, the staff are polite, nice and helpful. They taught us how to rock climb first time no problem. There are 3 waivers you must complete before you climb, you can do these at home before visiting CRG.There are maybe 20 or so bouldering routes, maybe 10 or so auto-belay lines, and another 20 or so belay climbs. The fitness room area upstairs was disappointing. Out of maybe 8 or so treadmills only 1 was working. Wish they would update those machines for when you want a break from climbing. There are lockers to lockup your stuff with your own lock. There are also cubbies out in front where you can store your stuff, according to staff no one steals here, so you should be safe. There are showers in the locker room.

If I could give CRG 6 stars I would, and I really should since this review is almost a week late. I walked in last Friday to ask about the chance to take a lesson or learn privately with an instructor. I know how to belay (I work at a camp which has a top rope three-faced wall, bouldering, and multiple high rope elements) but I have (HAD!) a mental block and a fear of climbing. Elayne (who I later learned is the General Manager happened to be standing at the desk when I walked in and was very sympathetic to my plight. She answered all of my questions, worked with my schedule (I'm not from the area and was only visiting for the weekend), and then booked me a session with her for the holiday Monday before I left for home.To say that this lesson was lifechanging would be an understatement. I walked in with some apprehension, but after meeting Elayne several days prior it felt much less than I had anticipated. I got geared up (with the gym's rentals since I had forgotten to bring my own harness and had never used climbing shoes before) and we were off to check off my knot tying and belay skills. That was reassuring because even though I fumbled my first re-trace figure eight (nerves, OK!?) Elayne remained understanding, calming, and kind. Then it was time to climb and I can only say that the rest of the experience was empowering. We spent an hour focusing on fundamentals, falling, and technical aspects that all truly made me feel inspired and excited to keep going. Oh, and sore,...but in the best way!I felt so great that I went climbing the next night at a gym closer to my camp back in NJ,....and I miss CRG and Elayne. For anyone who is nervous, anxious, scared as a beginner climber or going through anything even as experienced climbers I promise that Elayne and CRG will help you.

Great spot and huge gym ! Went here for the first time last weekend. It's 2 decently sized building with ropes and bouldering. They even had a electronic climbing board upstairs that with an app you could make your own routes and change the pitch of it. Lots of options to climb here I never felt like I was on top of anyone or anything. Will definitely be back when in the area. Also got recommended "The Dojo" rock gym nearby. Next time ! Restrooms were nice and clean and staff very friendly.

Had to reach someone, No way to contact anyone on phone. NOT okay with me as a parent. Heaven forbid an emergency arises no way to reach our son.

After 4 years of membership I can say they generally are not friendly or accommodating. Its a good gym but the customer service is the worst I've ever experienced in and gym in my life.

Friendly staff, fun routes, and welcoming to kids. My daughter had a hard time on one of the routes and it took a lot of coaxing to get her to come down. I tried to help her as did a staff member, but when she finally got down in tears and we were walking away the manager came up and rather callously told me in the future not to climb up to help her. Fair point, but poorly delivered and not the right moment.

Excellent and friendly staff, regularly set routes and plenty of wall to go around. On top of that, there are fantastic classes for climbing, fitness, and yoga. It can be on the expensive side to start but there are options to help if you need it. I recommend climbing to anyone and everyone and this is a great place to start.

Decent sized indoor climbing gym with weights room, yoga room and stretching area. They have lots of top-ropes, lead lines and bouldering problems. In terms of variety, they have good vertical and overhanging climbs spanning all kinds of holds. There's only one slaby wall for top-rope, which right now has pretty easy routes. The staff is super friendly as well.

A really great climbing gym! The staff are friendly and helpful. The boulder grades are accessible for beginners and challenging for all levels.
