Concerns about prepared foods sitting in the cooler too long. I got some potato salad and it tasted like alcohol. Potato salad was 10 days old and still had 2 more days to go before it was considered "expired" by the label they printed. USDA says potato salad prepared by a grocery store should be consumed no more than 5 days after it's been made. Wish I paid attention to the prepared on and expiration dates. Co-worker also told me they got some prepared foods from Maple Farm Foods recently and when they arrived home discovered they were molder. There may be a lack of attention to removing expiring food or a lack of understanding general food expiration guidelines set forth by the USDA.Still giving 2 stars because everyone there is usually very helpful and they have good prices on their produce and meats.

One of my favorite places to visit for a quick grocery run l. I used to live in Noho and commuted from my work in Amherst, Maple Farm Foods is the right place to take a rest for lunch and/or catch up on serious grocery shopping. The fact that it's right on the bike path makes it a great picnic destination in the summer as well.

Tried the burrito bowl for the first time and it was a great value and very tasty. My daughter had the burrito and it was huge. She couldn't finish it. So many Mediterranean options to try that looked amazing too for next visit. Fresh veggies and a grocery store to boot. Truly a hidden gem.

Overall, a good place. Watch dates on the grab/go food/meals ... they let prepared foods sit in the cooler for a long time. Don't trust the food to be from today or yesterday, I've seen dates on the label a week old. (Makes me worry about how long food from their hot bar or burrito bar have been aging.)

We always take a walk on the bike trail and stop at Maple Farm Foods. Pick up fresh veggies or fruit. Fresh baked pies are good, also. Pretty much a very good alternative to driving to major grocery stores any anything you might need. People who work there are friendly and helpful.

If you go in the side door the smell of asian food may overwhelm you. But don't let that discourage you!! The reason you are here on this planet and at this little farmers market is for the apple cider donuts. Don't trip. It's been your life's purpose to find these cake donuts that transform your from donut eater to donut aficionado. Now you finally have something to talk about a dinner parties. There's lots of parking in local produce. Oddly enough, they also have premade Middle Eastern and Asian food which is a nice find for this little small town.
