Post office told me to go here to cash money order because they don't carry cash. Credit union won't cash it because I'm not a member. What a joke. And to think the money order is government issued.

Absolutely awful experience working with them on paying off my used car loan through them. Customer support takes a minimum of 30 minutes to get someone on the line. If you value your time, go elsewhere.

Called to ask a question that the automated system could not assist with waited on hold for 21 minutes!!! Really unacceptable That they don’t have persons to assist callers with questions!

I feel compelled to write this review, and in fact I don't write many. I've been with HFCU for 21 yrs now, nearly every interaction has been at the the bank on Hanscom AFB. A former Navy Federal Credit Union Member, I switched over and have enjoyed Exceptional Service from HFCU at Hanscom for many many years! The absolute best employees, full staff, personable, worked with me through multiple erroneous charges, account issues, loan issues...you name it...A++! For some reason, this past year & half it has gone downhill significantly! Everything from the Call Center (with exception of Tess, who appears to be the only one who gets things done correctly!), Loan Dept and Service Representatives at Hanscom AFB bank seem rushed or rude or unable to solve anything. Another exception at this location is the drive up teller (wish i could recall her name) , who is delightful even though she appears to be the only one in the branch most times! HFCU is just not what it was....its time to switch banks.

When applying for a loan there is a black hole of communication. No way to talk to a loan officer, only the 1-800 number and loan officer only emails back. Stay far away.

The atms don’t work at Hanscom AFB. Very frustrating for military personnel who don’t have time to leave base to find another bank. Especially when this is our actual bank account.

Mailed a check for deposit; didn’t show for almost a month. Mail apparently goes to Littleton and is backed up. Really messed with my bills.

This used to be my favorite credit union. But between poor customer service, lack of branches near my home and fees, now it's one of my least favorite. The website is not friendly to use. The mobile site is meh. Paying credit card bill is a PITA. Seems like no easy way to set up a payment from a non HFCU account. Speaking of credit card, they changed the rewards system so now you have to reapply for the rewards card, even if you have been a member for 10+ years. Very disappointed in the direction this place is going.

Customer service is absent especially online where I have written three or four messages in the last year that were never responded to. I expect a lot better from a place where I put my money.

Used to be my favorite credit union but multiple problems with payments, ways to pay, fraudulent charges ( charges made to my debit card ), antiquated banking methods and poor customer service made me change credit unions. I used to have many fraudulent charges on my HCFU debit card, I haven’t had ONE in the 4 years at my new CU

I sent a question online as to why this credit union does not have connections with Zelle money transfer. I got an answer from a customer service representative, Pat, who is very ignorant and she did not bring my question to the headquarters for answers. She only responded that she doesn't know why, then she did not go any details, so that she can end my answer. Terrible customer service. The customer service representative, Pat, doesn't care to bring the attention to the headquarters for answers. Shame on Pat. I am very disappointed

It is sad when I see people complaining of getting scammed I was ones in this shoes and I know how it feels like, but I was able to get back all my funds though a private security institution that took my case and helped me recover mine you all should try.
