Service was pretty good especially after we warmed her up. I ordered the pork chop surefire special which was a bit over cooked. Squash was excellent. The bar was friendly and fast. Restaurant has a nice ambiance.

Our first time here. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Casual but nice ambiance. We ate in the dining room but the bar area looked inviting and they have Keno. My brother, the connoisseur of burgers, rated his burger as one of the best he's had. I had the lamb chops which were delicious, fresh veggies medley good and not over cooked, the baked potato... Delish! Then there was the dessert menu! The huge chocolate chip cookie with ice cream (Richardson's), hot fudge and caramel was sinfully yummy. The grapenut pudding, homemade, large portion, delicious. We're planning on going back to try other homemade dishes, desserts and one of their specialty cocktails. Prices were reasonable and portions more than enough. They also have an outdoor patio. Fully recommend.

Been a few times, good at first but our last visit was not great at all. Service was slow and bad- our waitress forgot about us- no bread, or the soup and chowder we ordered for appetizers. Food was okay nothing special. Extremely busy and very LOUD!!!

The staff is always so nice and the food is great. I really don't know why this place isn't more popular. The cocktails are fantastic and the butternut squash is so amazing (when it's available seasonally)

I have been here a handful of times. Service seemed better and more attentive on slower night (weeknight) vs others and small group versus big group. Traditional American fare - Food was good consistently only had 1 thing that wasn't to my liking. Nothing mind blowing

Recently heard about the Monday deals here of 1/2 price burgers. Since it was MLK day and I had a vaca day, figured the perfect day to go and try it. I walked into a wall, which is somewhat strange but they probably do that because it's winter here and when the door opens, it would make the tables near there cold. Anyways, I bellied up to the bar and was able to watch Friends on TV and ordered a Texas burger and a glass of wine. Fries do not come with the 1/2 price burger offer so I went without and it was a good thing because the burger was hugh. I also made sure to get the Texas burger because it came with onion rings on top. This way, it helped me offset my not ordering a side of fries and it was a great choice. The bar was on the smaller side, maybe 12 chairs and not many were filled. The restaurant was semi busy and there are tables in the bar area too if you prefer that. They have Keno if you enjoy that while dining. I have to say the bartender was super nice and helpful. She knew it was my first time there and she was available with any question(s) I had. I also noticed a hugh and I mean hugh private room with a beautiful fire place. I took a photo of that to share with anybody who is looking for a venue. It's very pretty and very large. I'm always on the hunt for a good deal at a restaurant and 1/2 price burgers on a Monday is a good deal!
