Well brought my car to a mechanic and he told me I needed calipers didn’t sound right to me. So just moved to carver and needed a mechanic and I asked around and someone told me Daves. I brought it down there and found out all I needed was two ties go figure.lol. So that’s where I will bring my car from now on. I found a good Mechanic😃

Since my 5 Star auto mechanic retired 30 years ago, My search for a shop as good as his had been futile, until I got a tip to bring my car to Dave's Automotive. In a stress free professional manner, they consistently deliver an honest diagnosis & quality workmanship at a fair price. It is worth the 30 mile trek. The owner Dave passed before I started going there, but it is very clear that he did a great job of imparting his extensive knowledge & skills to his son Eric & grandson Travis, since they were tall enough to look under the hood. With three generations of a continuous track record in running a successful business, I know I've found my forever auto mechanic shop, no matter who retires.

Dave is incredibly honest. Knows his craft and is a true mechanic.
Recently, dave scheduled me in and fixed what sullivan tire didn't do. Sullivan tire left my car in total disarray, cost so much time money and stress. Had 2 recalls not related to issue but they did find a leaking brake line and comfirmed my calipers were fine, not defective as JIM was adamant on and said go somewhere else. After robbing me 1500$, after i had just had my front end done right before this only had 65 miles on my new brakes, pads, rotors caliphers all of it. They promised my car was safe just go elsewhere get your manufactuer to fix the oroduct. Leaving me with a leaking brake and gas line. They promised me my car was is safe. I drive passengers. This is negligence.
Well. I came to find all this out after Jim at Sullivan tire says its another defective caliper. Mind you my car had just had my entire front end done. That place scammed me out of almost 1500.00 left me without an operational car for 9 weeks while playing the game of back and forth.
I had it towed to daves, he fixed it all in one day when I scheduled it and during rhe timing of it all it was awhile 10 days. My car had been down since right before graduations began. This went on for months with them being switched around to corporate then they finally filed a claim i have too much evidence and their claim was its a defective caliper. All in correspondence via corporate. So now it was a corrsion brake line you left and said oh well if they missed rhese allegedly, they need to be checked out. This is extreme tort negligence. I was beyond stressed to my absolute max.
. It was, and is, what it is. I was being convinced my car was too damaged by KIA dealership. So why didn't they say that,? Then, lie to me. I'll never know.
This is a serious problem with ST scamming and putting others at risk. I am now going to court. The claims dept only denied me and changed the story on Wednesday.
So I printed it and am ready to go to civil court.
A judge not being paid off would see all my discovery. Tons of it. The many places I towed it to, to have a second option to confirm Sullivan tires negligence.
Daves Automotive fixed my issues for less than 400. He is an honest man.
Please stay away from all Sullivan tire locations their scammers. Take them to court. People need to put them on notice. Tell your friends and family and go schedule with Daves. I promise you he is one of the last few real men out there. Isn't corporate bought or owned. It's refreshing to see that and competent team you have is wonderful as well down to those whom answer the phone. I appreciate you!
There is and are still real mechanics out here. Dave and his team are in my case, not that long ago, and continue to be life savers. My car is my life. Dave saved my car and my sanity as well as my financial stress of what Sullivan tire robs people of.

I had 2800$ estimated repair cost in my car for 2 parts. I went to Dave's and they instantly told me they could do it for 600 less. All said and done, they saved me 1,000$ and definitely made my car run significantly better. I would highly recommend.
