They utilize a little different system, you place your order online, they process the order on Mondays, and depending on the size of the order ship it out by Wednesday. This is so your order arrives by Friday and is not sitting over the weekend in a distribution center. I say based on size because I did have one very large order they carried over until the next week to ship. The quality is very high. While they are not inexpensive. This is a case where you get what you pay for. If you’re still in doubt, try a pound of applewood smoked bacon… it’s insanely good and a find myself adding a few pounds to every order. Conversely, their sausage utilizes a fine grind, much finer than that you would find in supermarkets making for a mushy consistency and just not my cup of tea. The variety of cuts is good. The steaks well marbled and favorable. Their bundles represent an excellent value for the dollar. Holiday orders arrive on time. They remind me of a time before the mega markets and each town had a small local butcher… you knew what to expect and it was consistently good. Definitely worth trying.”
