The staff at the East harwich CVS is always willing to help. I have never felt rushed while asking a question. I have access to 2 other local cvs stores but I prefer the East harwich location. The pharmacist is very knowledgeable and takes his time to explain as well as the staff that works in the pharmacy area.

Apparently, this store is now fully automated, at least if you choose to use the self checkout like I did. I scanned an item and it beeped and it said this item required assistance. Employee came over and voided item, and left indicating I was to do so again. I did and it beeped again. She came over and set it up so I could put in price and quantity, then walked away. The item had no price, so I decided that $1 sounded good, and proceeded successfully to check out. Knowing that the item was more than a dollar but not knowing how much more, I approached someone I thought was a manager to ensure she was OK with it. But, she didn't work for the store. So I went back to the checkout and they told me to go over to the price scanner and scan the item there. It didn't scan there either. I have been in the hospitality industry on Cape Cod since 2006, and for ten years prior to that, and I was literally agog. At this point, I said, somewhat in jest, I expected pay and benefits! They then scanned it at their register with the same results and then told me that I was good to go.

So I was standing in line chatting with a nice man in front of me. Only 3 of us in line total. it was 12:45 and the little I think Indian gal was dictating where we were to stand in line. At first I was looking around trying to figure out who she was talking to. (where there more people there?) She repeated that the line was to swing to her left. So I spoke up and I said "There is only 3 of us here" She just repeated it and I said there is only 3 of us..She said something to the effect that its a new rule of CVS?? So I said we are all adults and can handle ourselves. Then the Pharmacist piped and and mentioned she is just telling us the procedures. The indian gal tried again and I said just do your job and she finally got moving taking care of the lady in front. She moved over to another counter. So pharmacist started dealing with guy in front of me. She asked if we were together and I said no and she said we need to stand further away from each other. I said we dont have covid and then she said HIPPA LAWS...BS...Most of us are older and cant hear any way..They are clearly hangry at this hour and need to boss people around. Most of us are not interested in other peoples meds. CVS need to hire nicer people..We come in as we are sick and they are bossing people around like children..No thank you...BTW the pharmacist conveniently could not fill my prescription until after lunch..which was from 1:30-2 and it was only 12. 50 by the time she spoke to me...hmmmm

Incredibly slow, lazy, impolite, and not even very informed on medication or their stock. I definitely don't recommend this pharmacy.

Any pharmacy that lets you sit on hold for 20 or more minutes is just incompetent. I get that sometimes it's busy so get a new system that gives a call back option. It's just rude and frustrating.

Understaffed. With young kids I have really appreciated the drive thru pharmacy. The staff are usually very friendly. But service is so SLOW. They need way more people working here to handle the demand. Apparently on the lower cape we fill a lot of prescriptions. Please hire more people. It's nice inside but I rarely go inside with kids and covid-19 pandemic.

IF YOU WANT TO FEEL SAFE, DO NOT GO HERE FOR FLU SHOT. I was nervous about having to wait so I asked how appts work... I made appt but when I arrived the store was too crowded and I was told I had to wait... inherently defeating purpose of appt. THE APPOINTMENT PROCESS IS MEANINGLESS.

Very disappointed in this store. Waited an hour in half to pick up meds after being told meds would be ready. Every time the past 2 months that I go to pick up my medications, there is always a very serious mistakes on my medication, wrong insulin, wrong quantity, wrong medication, wrong needles given. Serious concern about the quality of care and service. Even my Doctors are recommending to switch to another pharmacy. Under staff in the front end as well as pharmacy. Shame on CVS Corporate

Totally understaffed!!! One cashier cannot handle; & when she's too taxed to bag bulky items--I.e. cereals & toilet paper, something has to give! Not fair to her. Put on more help!

These guys have lost all confidence I had. The pharmacy has no idea about their own drug plans (CVS) and are completely unhelpful Pharmacist was rude and gives out wrong information not just to me but their own corporate customer service people I wouldn't trust them. Go somewhere else!!!!

The staff in the pharmacy is horrific. Not remotely helpful, zero empathy, terrible customer service. Rude staff, particularly Eddie the intern who apparently thinks he's too good to make eye contact and help some of CVS' elderly customers. I will never go back. I'd suggest anyone looking for a pharmacy to go to one of the other CVS' down the road or a different pharmacy altogether. Do not go here unless you feel like being treated badly.

In case you're wondering, CVS Pharmacy pharmacy is not open at the same time as CVS Pharmacy the store. The website makes no distinction; as it happens the pharmacy is open later than the store on weekends causing us to make an extra trip. Poor planning, guys.
