I ran out of gas up the street and came in asking to borrow a gas can and buy some gas to fill it. He said I could buy one but I said I just wanted to borrow one and return it right away. He said okay I'll grab one and brought out a plastic water bottle gallon jug with no cap. He told me to go to pump 4 and fill it. I did and then realized it had a small hole in it that I had to plug with my finger. This was a shit show and I should've just gone next door to mobile but I didn't think of it because I was flustered and in kind of a time crunch. The cashier should know not to carry and especially suggest carrying gas in one of those containers.

5/25 about 4:15pm. I came in this gas.station to play lottery. When my ticket was rejected the employee just threw my lottery slip at me.When I asked him why he did that he just ignored me like I was nothing. ( I am black woman)I do not know why some people feel comfortable being rude and racist.I love everybody not matter what color they are.

Super rude guy working there! He was very rude and came out yelling at me. Apparently the pump I parked in front of was closed so he felt the need to insult me. I did not try and use the pump. The cone indicating a closed pump was not placed properly if I could still pull up to the pump! I just went down the street to Mobil gas. Wouldn't recommend this place, not worth the trouble.

Price is slightly above average, multiple interactions with employees in the mart were sub par but I've ignored them (you never know who's having a rough day), why I give this a 1 star is the gentleman came out as I was throwing away a dunkin donuts cups and straw wrappers in their provided trash can to yell "this isn't your personal landfill!" ...I just dropped $50 on gas and I can't throw away some wrappers? Unprofessional, bafflingly aggressive, won't be returning.

This shop insists that you take Canadian currency as change for purchases.

First time stopping in for a drink the other day, to my unpleasant surprise the young kid working was talking very loudly on speaker phone to someone about wanting to get out of work so he could go smoke "Tina" I brushed it off as annoying but then it followed by him ringing me up and going on and on about it. He then proceeded to tell me "Tina" is code for crystal meth. So you have an employee talking openly in front of customer about smoking meth after or during work. Then describing it to customers if they didn't know what it was...absolutely ridiculous, I get it's a gas station but it's still a place of employment and I was shocked you don't even uphold the basic standards when hiring someone!

Although the price is always as reasonable as fuel ever is in these parts, I rarely come here to fill up. It is a tight squeeze to maneuver your car off 3A and into the gas lanes. But the worst for me is that it is self-serve only. I know this is the only option many people in other parts of the country have....which I think is deplorable. I am a fan of the laws in Oregon and New Jersey which ban self-serve gas stations...(too many morons who insist on smoking cigarettes and other foolish behaviors while filling up). I am not a prima donna but I just don't like pumping my own gas. I like a full service gas station and I will frequent those 99% of the time. They are getting harder to find in these parts but I know of at least two of them in Hingham and one in neighboring Hull. This gas station is bare bones although there is a small market attached however the assistance is negligible. If after pumping your gas you want a receipt, you have to then go into the store. The gas pump does not produce receipts. Do they make you do this so that once you are in the store, they hope you will buy something more? There is nothing in the store that I need or want. Maybe if this were a gas station off a major highway but here you are in practically in downtown Hingham. If there is anything besides gas that you need, I would recommend just going to a regular store with more reasonable prices on the snacks and other junk that this place sells. The gas station right next to this one has the same prices and both full-service and self-serve. It's easier to pull into and has an attached car wash. That's the better bet.
