The customer service at this store is subpar. I purchased a coffee maker that failed after a short time and after checking into our options was not only informed by the store that they could do nothing about it but denied even selling it. We also purchased an expensive pan described as lifetime which failed. After seeking help at the store, representatives could do nothing. We were directed to a 1-800 number and wouldn't even call for us. The items are very expensive with the customer service not matching the expense or the claimed quality of the items.

The store is extremely busy around the holidays, but i didn't have a Choice. Excellent quality on so many items, but the price point is pretty steep. Despite the number of shoppers, everyone was polite, while waiting in line to purchase and even to have questions answered.
It's very easy to drop several hundred dollars if you're not careful and disciplined!

I visited the Williams Sonoma store on 11/14 and had such a wonderful experience that I had to take the time to write a review. From the moment I walked in, the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The gentleman who assisted me was extremely knowledgeable and answered all my questions with such expertise. His guidance made my purchase so much easier, especially for something as special as the cutting board I’ve always wanted (I have had my eyes on it for years!!)
The woman who checked me out was equally fantastic—so sweet and attentive. Her genuine warm aura really added to the overall experience. It’s rare to find such a lovely crew who genuinely cares about their customers, and I left feeling truly impressed.
Kudos to this team for their outstanding customer service and knowledge. You all are awesome! I’ll definitely be back!

Encouraged to take out a WS Credit card in order to get 20% discount, turns out this is a scam and you don't actually get approved the day of. Extra unneeded credit card, credit card pull and no discount.

The Williams-Sonoma is super buttery. Expect a line and a long wait coming here. If you come with your friends, you can Williams-Sonoma other in line.

We purchased two ultimate oven mitts on Williams-sonoma website. We used them for the first time and realized that one of them was defective. We were told to return them to any of their stores. We entered the Hingham Ma store which was very quiet. The employee (ID twahl1) informed us they do not have a replacement in the orange color we purchased. We noticed they have them in yellow, the employee told us not to purchase them, because she does not want to deal with us should we have to return them! We were offered a refund of $51.38 which we excepted. We went next door to Crate and Barrel and purchased two new replacement mitts all with big smiles. I will never shop on line or in any of William Sonoma shores again. Lastly when we called customer service, they told us they do not deal with store problems only on line Problems ! STAY AWAY FROM WILLIAM SONOMA Quite easy to see their store employees are very unhappy at their jobs.

Placed a $560 order around 10:30am for pickup. At 3 pm I called because I had still not been contacted. I called the site and was told the order was ready and I was SUPPOSED to get a call. Ok - so I go to the store to pick up simple order that I had placed several hours earlier. The store manager was extremely rude and condescending to tell me if I wasn't notified there was no way my order was ready. I told her I called the store and was told it was ready. She told me to get to the end of the line and stormed off. When I finally did get to counter, the staff there was great. The store manager very rude and unprofessional. Helped me to make up my mind as to whether I should buy more gifts there - not!

Store is like a magazine cover but lacks customers!Unfortunately I am sure brick and mortar stores have a limited need in the future and on line shopping will take over with a much safer way to shop at your own comforts of home.Hate say that normal shopping here will change that will be so foreign to all.I loved the sale prices and that's what will be missed.Staff will suffer with cuts and reorganized to keep this beloved store open. But days of tasting and cooking inside the store won't be back! Not hygienic anymore.

Very nice tools and accoutrements for fine dining, living and kitchen. Like Crate and Barrel, everything from A to Z. Pricey, but not out of reach. Went looking for a specific item; a lead free scotch decanter and of course, they had it. Priced very reasonably. Wide selection too. Derby Street Shops, so parking is a chance depending on season the season. Very helpful staff. JAN2020

Nobody's reviewed this in years? Really? Well, I had the "seasonal" help. Retired people from years ago looking for something to do with their time. Thank God they were there. They were educated, they were patient and they were not pushing. Went in with the attitude that "I ain't going to find anything for so and so cause I don't know what they want or need". After searching for a little, after going back and forth I asked for someone to make me an espresso. Then I thought about how easy it was, how knowledgeable the two people that worked behind the counter were and how they gave me options and didn't force anything on me. I could have walked away. I could have taken my espresso and went over to Crate and Barrell but I didn't. I bought one and have a new found respect for my William Sonoma.
