First and foremost they don’t allow you to call and directory speak to the pharmacy. They direct you to leave a message and then promise a return phone call. This call may or may not be returned in a “reasonable “ period of time. In any event, it is at their convenience not yours. Pharmacies in general are being closed on a regular basis in today’s market place due to financial issues and in many cases the difference between staying open or being shut down is determined by customer service reviews which is why we are constantly being asked to take surveys by everyone. I suggest that this store might benefit greatly by reconsidering their phone policies and show more respect for
their customer needs in real time.

This company sucks!!! After multiple calls at over 3 minutes each just to navigate the worst menu ever to try to speak with a pharmacy rep, they only offer that you leave a message!!! I'm already annoyed and now I have to go to store to put in Rx request in person and I'm sure wait a good 1/2 hour to be filled because I cant reach anyone by phone!!!
I cant image an already overworked staff having the time to listen to a message and call back, which takes twice as long. I'm going to guess they dont return calls with this new system and CVS put this in place just because they want to make you come in and wait in person anyways just to get you to spend money while waiting for your rx to be filled. Hire more staff CVS and take care of your customers and ease up on your overworked workers!

Twice in past 5 days CVS Holden has shown online or by phone that an Rx was ready for pickup. Both times this was not true. Multiple trips required to pick up supposedly ready Rx. Waste of gas and money. Finally ordered 1 of the Rx OTC medical supplies from Amazon. $5.00 cheaper for twice as much. Lesson learned.

I wish I could minus stars. I've used CVS in Worcester and West Boylston and now Holden for the past four years. It has to be the worst CVS in history....talking about the Pharmacy not the front of the store (they are always helpful). My husband had a prescription sent in on Friday 3/23/23. I went to get it Saturday...they didn't have it in stock. They said Tuesday the 28th. Went in Tuesday, they didn't have it and said they had to call the doctor. I checked online today, Wednesday the 29th, it said in process and getting more information it said it would be ready at noon. Went in at 1:00 and there had to be 8 people in line and more coming with one ringer. Get to the register.... Surprise!!! They don't have it. We are switching pharmacies I'm sick of their crap. So my husband has been without his medication for 4 days and they offer no solution. They ROT.

my experience w/ CVS, Holden MA overall has been pretty Good.My complaints are For CVS ThemSELVES; pharmacy appears Understaffed, ridiculously little amount of space for them to Work & Stored meds properly. Almost ALWAYS Out Straight. For the reasons I said; UNfair to the staff that Tries their BEST w/ the Very miniscule space & lack of help.

my experience has been overall pretty Good. I can clearly see the pharmacy staff is Overworked, little space. They appear to be balancing the Best they Can w/ what they have too work with. It's actually Not the staff's fault, it's CVS's Fault. I don't feel we should punish the staff. I've witnessed over & over them busting themselves to the seems; they are out straight at almost ALL TIMES! *Be Kind when they appear to be Trying their Best, doing their Best.

I went in today and my card was not working for some reason. I went to pay with cash but was short $0.05 and the cashier was nice and gave me a nickel someone else had left behind. This was so very kind of her and much appreciated! All staff was polite and kind! Thank you.

I think most reviews are being a little harsh giving 1 star for the pharmacy while saying the staff is awesome. The pharmacy def and I mean def needs a staff change or a software change, sometimes they don’t have the prescription even when I get the message saying that it’s filled. I’ve never had a problem with the people, it’s just the most inconvenient pharmacy to go to if you need to pick up meds in a rush

Beware of the cashier that will try and repeatedly scam you into signing up for the new $5 a month program. When I figured out what she was doing i pressed no on the key pad. We went through this song and dance 3 times with her repeatedly trying to get me to sign up and showing me the same screen to approve the recurring fee again and again. I had to walk out. What an absolutely terrible experience. So disappointed and will take my business to Walgreens in town.

Seemed like everyone who worked there hated their lives, no one was helpful, especially the pharmacists. One cashier wasn't wearing their mask fully and nobody in line was standing on the 6 feet apart spots on the floor. I used to love this CVS but over the years this place went wayyy down hill. Sad!
