“I have a new driver in the family, several people had told them that it sounded like they needed new brakes. I made the appointment without checking myself. Dropped the car off, received a call from them that the brakes were fine, they could do something to try to smoothe them out for $90 which might stop the noise (or not), but functionally the brakes were fine. Very honest people there, no charge, didn't try to talk me into something unnecessary or take advantage of the situation. I've only gone there for inspections prior to this. The last time with the same vehicle, there was a tail light out, $17 to replace immediately so it could pass inspection. Perfect!”

“Edits: A couple days later I did hear from the store manager telling me to come in. Auto care manager took my information for a claim and with in a week or two Walmart corporate contacted me about replacing the damaged rim.
I brought in a loose single for a new tire and the person who changed my tire damaged the rim with the tire changing machine, yes those edges are sharp I cut myself quite badly picking it up in the store. I called the manager to leave a complaint and was told the auto center manager was out and that I would be called back by a team leader in 10-15 minutes. Well, it's the next day and still nothing. I am incredibly displeased to put it mildly.”
“Don't go on a Saturday! I got there at 7 am and was not even talked to until after 8 am. Then they could only find 3 out of 4 tires I ordered. They ended up putting on other tires that were more expensive without an additional charge, but I did not get out of there until after 11. They even prioritized me after the issues they had. Great price, just don't go on the weekend.
UPDATE as of 6/20/25: 6.5 years later I was back to get tires. This time Walmart had an appointment system instead of first come, first serve. Two people ahead of me were turned away because they didn't have an appointment which was nice to see since I did have one. They had all 4 tires and got it done in less than an hour. Saved me $100 by going there instead of a local shop.”
