This Walgreens used to be great, but they have been terribly understaffed for the past two years. They lose orders in the store, you wait long periods of time to speak with someone, their phone system will often disconnect you. I usually have to spend 30-45 minutes of my lunch break to talk to someone and get an order unstuck from their systems. The people working there are always very kind, and apologetic, but it is not a good customer experience. The technology from mobile app to phone systems just don't work well.

I picked up my medicines today and one was missing. I called back to question this and was told - oh thats right your Dr put in two orders, we couldn't fill the second one because your insurance doesn't cover it. I was like - what? Turns out they charged both my meds to the wrong insurer entirely - even the one they charged me for. How do you a. charge me for something billed out to the wrong insurer b. completely fail to tell me your not providing me the other medicine because that insurer wont cover it. Now I have to drive back there sick to fix this mess. Really? This is pharmacy 101 people.

The pharmacist at Walgreens go out of their way to help when you have insurance issues or Medicare or Medicaid and can't figure out how to pay for your medicine. Our healthcare system may be messed up but Walgreens really does seem to care at least mine does. Thank you to Dan and all the other Walgreen's pharmacists.
