Probably the most organized and clean Barnes and Noble we have been to in Ma with the most friendliest of employees from the checkout to Starbucks , my kids and I enjoyed our experience here.

Huge bookstore ! Huge selection! I'd love to come back another time with more available time to spend there to just stroll the aisles! Bathroom is all the way upstairs in the back though is the only sad bit. Otherwise super nice location with lots of potential to find something unique or to your specific liking!

It's been awhile since my last visit to a Barnes and Noble but I am visiting a relative who under went surgery and had some down time so I stopped by to do some browsing. Most of my reading has been on line. I have to admit to a great experience during my visit to the store. Displays and employee suggestions brought me some good discoveries. Also had an espresso while starting to read one of my purchases. The experience brought great memories of the many hours spent browsing through their stores. When I return home, I intend to schedule more visits to a local BnN.

I have the Nook HD. I have had it for 12 yrs. I read with it every night. I have purchased around 100 ebooks in the last 12 yrs. I received an email stating as of June 2024 my nook will reach end of life and will no longer be able to purchase or download ebooks. They offered me $30 off the cheapest model they currently have or $30 off the new tablet coming out in June. There are 2 other Nooks available but they are not offering a discount on those. I called and spoke to a customer service rep to see if there was any chance I could get the discount on the Nook 4 Plus but was told No. I asked to speak to a supervisor. I was pleasant and said I have been a long time loyal customer and have purchased 100+ books over the past 12 yrs. Through no fault of my own my Nook has reached end of life. I think it is nice that you are offering a discount on 2 Nooks but why not offer it on all 4. The supervisor was rude. Sorry but now it's time to switch to kindle. Barnes and Noble lost a loyal customer. I will not recommend or even set foot in a store again!
The staff at Barnes and Noble Holyoke are very friendly, the store is clean and spacious. I would give the Holyoke store 5 stars but overall, unfortunately I need to move on and switch to kindle!!
