“My family have been long time customers of Stephen Allen and so naturally, I knew my engagement ring would come from here one day. I just got engaged and my ring has such a beautiful story behind it. I started working with Colleen MONTHS ago to try and design the perfect ring. I knew I wanted custom and not just one in-store, so I got to working with her and we got to designing, which was such a FUN process. At first, I had one vision, which she had carefully designed up for me, and after a couple of months, I changed my vision entirely, so we redesigned. And then we edited a few times from there! With each revision, Colleen was just SO patient, so helpful in listening to my thoughts and taking recommendations and making adjustments so that it fit my vision. Once we settled on a design, she had a mold made before production to make sure it was exactly what we wanted! We did use some family stones that mean so much to me and Colleen was so communicative along the way letting me know that the stones had arrived safely to the jewelry designer/maker who was making my ring! Now, i have my absolute dream ring and it’s 1 of 1 in the entire world! I’m telling you, I’ve never worked with someone so patient and knowledgeable and caring! If you are looking for a local, family-owned jewelry store and want to work with people who will make your dreams a reality, then please visit SA and Colleen! She will make it all worth it! “I really wanted to like this place, they were super easy to get a hold of and fast to get an appointment. I felt a little uncomfortable when I originally tried on the dress that I got altered and I felt self conscious with the types of questions that I was asked. I have recently lost a lot of weight and I felt ashamed. When I picked up the dress, there was not much done to it and the dress could have been taken in about 2 inches more on both sides. A hefty price for little to no change. Sorry to them but I will look elsewhere when I need alterations in the future. Update : The owner (Lauren) reached out to me shortly after my trip and offered to take a second look. She took my dress back and altered it in 24 hours. It fit so much better and I really appreciate that she checked in with me. I would definitely go back to Lauren with my future altering needs. It's nice to know when people care and they make good on their word. Highly recommend!”

With only two weeks to the prom, Andrea shortened and adjusted the gown till it looked like it was made for her. She is a delight to work with.”
